Kaido Battle in America!

I find the opponents to race dirty, or is it that my car needs work(I have a FC3S all level 2 with the first 3 level 3 sponsor parts)? But I do the classic Gran Turismo moves of abusing the opponent at the corners. A question I have is how the heck do you race against the SARD Vitz? I have no prize cars, how much money does it take to race him, I have 9 million CP and really want to get a 22B-STi but have been holding out til I find him. I'm currently on Haruna.
 
My hardest battle was at Haruna. Im using 86 against MR2 in Hill Climb. Took me awhile cuz i realized when your near the end of the course while blocking the MR2 still, he flashes his lights and take no more chances of being blocked (He just charges in to hit u in the corner). So I just deplete his SP then pullaway a bit to win.
 
I just bought the Subaru Impreza 22B-STi and it rules at Haruna Downhill. I'm trying to perfect the setting.
 
The 22B is indeed a great car uphill and downhill... So far the NSX's didn't come close to winning... The Skyline GT-R team didn't come close either~
The NSX and S2000 combo wasn't easy but they both depleted their SP gauges when I only lost one bar (due to them mashing me into the wall)...

BTW got a Cappuccino and a RSX for the day time trials... Do I need a Skyline for the monster events?

Edit: Rokko unlocked!! Along with the S2000, GT-R R34, Supra, Evo VII, Honda NSX (new)!
 
Just got Iroha A. OMG I so dislike the course- too many hairpins and the AI is anything but 'polite'.

So far, the hardest battle now is against that blasted Demo car Evo VI in Iroha B (I think). I have tried everything from the Mines GTR to my own cars and there is absolutely no way to catch that beast after he shunts you in the first corner (If you slow down, you won't catch up). I can't get the rest of the rivals to appear in that area so I guess I hafta beat him.

Also, how the heck do you get that yellow Mazda 6 to appear in Hakone? I have beaten everyone else in that district and the SOB will not show up? :(

Yeah the computer is ultra dirty:nervous: Its like that can't stand the possibility of losing. I think for the Vitz you have to have all Lvl 2 parts. I really don't remember though.

The Monster Events pertain to the larger cars. The GTR works just fine :)

how do you unlock the iroha b slasher ive almost beaten everyone and i hit yes to one of the accept notes in the message board does anyone know what that message said i just hit yes thats why.. or how did u get to unlock the slasher for iroha b thanks

I have Kaido Battle 2+3 and I think the steering is in TXR Drift totally different and pretty strange.

Anyway I have two questions:

This is Kaido Battle 1, right so is there a possibilty to unlock cars with points like you can do in Kaido Battle 2.

Can someone give me a carlist? I think I read something about BMW in the intro 💡
 
Question to the Kaido Battle 2 experts!
I've unlocked 3 tracks so far. Hakone, Haruna and Akagi. Own a March, Silvia and GTO, but the endbosses do not show up in the last to tracks, Haruna an Akagi.

Does anybody know when the endbossed / slashers show up here? I've beaten level 1 up to 4 and all the rivals but the endbosses do not show up? Any Ideas?

PROBLEM SOLVED: I did check the BBS section again. Found the topic of challenge by the slashers dashed with a ! mark Accepted it and let them eat my dust :)

hey how many of yall do uphill i kind of hate it because of my cars power but i am trying.
 
Ya, uphill is a little tough for the little cars, but i'm pretty damn close to getting the ER34 Skyline so maybe that can handle the uphills better.
 
I just saved my beans for a few game-days and bought an STi. In stock trim it just tore up the opposition both uphill and downhill.

I finally unlocked haruna last night (2 restarts, I'm not the fastest game-player in the world). WOW it's fun-- twice as long as hokone, it seems.
 
I got a 22b thats just killing everyone. Fully modded and I spent awhile tuning it. Its my grip machine..other than that I got an FC, Z, Silvia, and just bought the 240sx. I prefer the FC when drifting...

Im still on haruna.Its a cool track, just an buttload of abrupt turns makes grip driving hard.
 
yea i am still on hakone i can't beat the seconds slasher lol cause i never have parts to bet on. but i am about to save up for either a 22b or a fc i might get both have 22b for uphill and fc for downhill

I wonder what would be a good combo
 
Well saved a bunch of money yesterday and got me a black Evo 7 TME and modded it to the max with most level 3 parts, great for uphill races, and today I saved up for an RX-7 FC and did the same upgrades as the evo, and it obliterates the competition too, great grip/drift car. I mostly use the Evo 7 for uphill and the RX-7 for downhill/drift.
 
thats what i was thinking about doing instead but i might get either a 22b or an evo but i know i am gonna get the fc for down hill,

just got hurana, but just did the catagory races then saved and quit.

Is it just me, or does Haruna seem much more..."geometrical" than it should be in this game? The in-game map seems to confirm this. A lot of the corners seem too tight.

I admit that my only previous experience with the road was on that Initial D arcade game, but if you look at a map of the actual road, it's far from what is represented in the in-game map.
 
Well, I raked up 11 million yen last night, and I want a fast light car, something faster than my Ev0 7 and FC RX-7. I'm looking at the NSX A-spec atm, but can't decide. Any suggestions?
 
I just got the game today, I love it! I'm on Hakone in my little white Trueno AE86. (I thought of getting an AE85, just for the hell of it.;) ) I'm still very early into the game, I can't wait to drive Haruna!
 
Anyone know what good car to get for racing? My FC is the drifter and is starting to get a little outperformed with some of the racer's at night so I wanna get a good car only for racing while my 7 is for drifting. It's got to be quite powerful for the uphills, I have around 14 million cp I can use.
 
22b is killing everything for me, I cannot stress how badarse this car is. I would consider it, but then again I havent driven anyother 4wd like the evo's..
 
I made it to Haruna! Oh my it is beautiful! (especially in the dead of night... ;) )
The gutters even work! (scared the crap out of me the first time I fell in at the five hairpins :lol: )
My 86 is starting to get beaten up by other cars, so I think it's time to get a second car. I'm thinking of an 4WD replacement, I'll problably get the Pulsair GTi-R since it's cheap and has a good power to weight ratio. No 22B for me... :(
 
for night i will get a 22b or a imprezza or a evo, they will kill on the uphill and downhill.

just go to cruise and try them out.
 
Can anyone let me know if this game is DFP compatable?

the game is pretty easy took me about two and a half weeks to finish the game, with on and off play i think i racked about 28 hours of play time...22b kills to the very end
