Why? What's so good about it? Just another 4 door saloon with a poor attempt at making it quick and with a dreadful name. Would much rather they concentrate on adding good and iconic cars before adding that thing.

More manufacturers in Gr.3 / Gr.4 would be a welcome addition I think considering it's one of the main focuses of the game - and there aren't a huge amount of realistic options - Kia, Volvo, Lotus, Bentley, KTM etc.

Hey, in my eyes, that 'thing' is a 'solidly' made car with great features, great design and fantastic running gear. i would love to see it in the game. And the performance is actually better that its competitors (porsche, BMW) and if you don't believe me on that, look for your self. and its kinda iconic a Kia can actually produce such a thing. You cannot say its a poor car... (well you can but you can't because facts back up the reason against it.) and the name, is fantastic! all your against points you've said are actually things that make the car. So idk what facts your reading off...

I would love to see some Australian cars and more Australian tracks too. They have a pretty iconic motorsport industry. Some of the Australian Supercars and the tracks would be good also. Im Australian XD

It's my opinion, which I am 100% entitled to. It's a shed. No BMW, Audi or Merc owner would ever trade to that thing. Utter junk. Far better cars to put in Gr3 like real GT3 cars and similar for starters. No need for more made up fantasy rubbish.

Where is Bentley? They raced this week in Austin but I can't drive one in game. Was Bentley represented in previous editions? I played 6 and GTS but don't remember.

The last Bentley that was in the franchise* was the Speed 7 Le Mans machine, and as far as I remember, the only Bentley to be in a Gran Turismo game.

They raced this week in Austin but I can't drive one in game.

GT Sport has 204 cars. There's loads of cars that race each week in the real world but you can't drive them in GT Sport.

Was Bentley represented in previous editions? I played 6 and GTS but don't remember.

The only Bentley in previous Gran Turismo games was the Speed 8 Le Mans-winning car from 2003, which was essentially an Audi R8. That was present in GT4, GT5 and GT6.

I'd like a Bentley first is all I'm saying.

There's no reason to suspect either will be in the game or, if one is, it one will take the place of the other.

Nevertheless, that's what this forum is for - and if the E30 M3 comes in this week's update, the top three most-liked cars in that forum will be in the game...

I agree with you, I drive an Infiniti Q50, which is a 3.0 Twin Turbo, a direct competitor to the Stinger, zero chance I would ever get a Stinger. At the end of the day it is still a KIA. KIA is really pushing the marketing on it and people are falling in love with it without even driving it. Does anybody remember the Hyundai Genesis? This reminds me of that same thing, stepping out of their usual market and trying to get into something they are not.

I might be bias. I worked for them for a time back in 2005 to 2008. I actually feel this way for a lot of companies I worked for back when I was a service adviser. When you see all the behind issues you start to form a bias. It is possible that they are way better now, I have been out of the industry for 6 years now so things could have changed. Just saying I am not one that would chose that car, but hey, if you like it, enjoy it, just not for me.

I'm on my second BMW. Between my dad and I, we've had 7 BMWs. And I would seriously consider the Stinger GT if I was in the market for a new car. Why? Because of one Albert Biermann, head of Hyundai N and Kia performance, and former head of BMW M for the last 20-odd years before moving to Hyundai/Kia. Almost every great M car was developed under his watch. Early reviews of the Hyundai i30 N and Kia Stinger GT by experienced journalists say they're fantastic to drive. The man behind M is now working his magic on Hyundai/Kia. I still love my BMW, but it's gotten soft compared to the older models. I would seriously give the Koreans a chance to look past the badge and dive into the driving experience.

Some of you guys really need to do a little more research about the minds behind the cars. It's not just marketing. They really did get the best brains from Germany working on them.

Anyhow, it was only a couple of decades ago that the West laughed at Japan when they tried to make sports cars. Look who's blowing their loads over GT-Rs, Z cars and VTECs now.

(I used to laugh at Hyundai/Kia too. But when they opened an office at the Nurburgring and hired Albert Biermann for chassis development and performance, they had my attention.)

You can not compare the R32 GT-R with the Kia Stinger. They may have had some clever people working on it but it’s still just an average car.

I haven't driven a Stinger or i30 N. I doubt you have either. But from what the journos are saying, I wouldn't doubt them.

Trying to keep this at least slightly related to the sub-forum it's in: I don't know if I would with my own money, but I'd certainly want to drive the Stinger or i30/Veloster N in a game. I rushed to do so in FM7 when both cars landed there.

In the real world: I think, if I were in the market for a hot hatch, the Veloster N would absolutely be in the running. I've heard plenty of good things from other outlets I trust, and the team behind it has worthy credentials.

The Stinger too. I don't quite consider it a full-on S4/340i competitor, because it's substantially cheaper (to the tune of $10k or so here), but it sits in a void Chevrolet just created by canning the SS. It's a sporty mid-size sedan with a non-premium name, and I think there's a market for that. It also looks fantastic on the move in the wild, in a way the relatively staid German establishment doesn't.

I can't say I'd put down a deposit on a Stinger tomorrow. But given the pedigree of the man behind its chassis development, I'd at least put aside badge snobbery and give it a real chance if I was in the market for a new ride. And I'm in a current model BMW now.

It's hard to win hearts and minds, especially in the car market, where performance car purchases are driven by emotion. But remember, Japan had to start winning races for folks to take them seriously. By the looks of it, Hyundai/Kia have all the right ingredients to win races soon. When that happens, things will change.

And yes, I'm totally looking forward to the i30 N and Stinger GT in GT Sport.

I can think of a big reason why I'd take a Kia Stinger over a comparable BMW, Mercedes, or whoever... because I could actually afford one. I mean in all honesty, we can't all afford to ride around in luxury brands. Games like GT are great because they give me the opportunity to drive machines I'll never be able to afford in real life... but that doesn't mean I wouldn't take some joy out of beating them on the track with something I could buy tomorrow if I wanted to either.

A few years back when I bought myself my first brand new car, I bought a Hyundai Sonata over the Honda Accords and the like simply because I could get it for several thousand dollars less with way more options. If I were in the market for a car like this I'd probably look hard at the Stinger for the same reasons.
