I'm a bit of a Kung Fu/ eastern movie fan, and if you could recommend a movie to me, it would be great. Because I'm in the mood of exapanding my DVD action collection. :D

Sorry if I have forgotten someone. These are all the "Kung Fu" guys I could think of right now.

You forgot Chris Farley (:

See the Iron Monkey!!

It's a must for kung-fu fans, the best in a long while.
Crouching Tiger Hiden Dragon is pretty good too (not enough fighting for me though).

Bruce Lee, the greatest. There are some movies with his son Brandon, He was very skilled as well. Too bad he offed himself.

Jet Li is the Prince, but Bruce Lee will always be the King.

Master of the one inch punch (if you ever see that **** is is amazing!) he was the absolute legend; "Flow like Water"

If you want to check out some more bad@sses then take a peek at:

Shogun Assassin (or any of this series)
The mystery of chess boxing
7 Grand Masters
Burning Paradise
Buddist Fist
The legend of Fung Sai Yuk (pts I and II)
Snake in the Eagle's Shadow
Born Invincible

let me know if you need more.....

dude! I just caught sight of some of the names on your list.

Van Damme?

Segal?

Come one mate - that's appalling. No wonder these muppets got 0%.

Check out Jack Long (Chess Boxing) - he is awesome... (still no match for Bruce though)

He didn't !
He did. He was playing with a prop gun on a movie set and shot himself in the temple with it. Even though it was loaded with blanks He did enuff' damage to kill himself. A WASTE :(

HE DIDN'T!!

On march the 31th 1993, Michael Massee, Funboy, was supposed to shoot Brandon with a blank during the filming of a flashback sequence. His prop gun fired a .44 caliber bullet instead, which struck Brandon in the abdomen. After 12 hours of emergancy surgery, Brandon died. No case has opened, it's been offically determend that Brandon's death was an accident. The flashback scene required Funboy's gun to be loaded, cocked and then pointed at the camera. Because of the close-range of the shot, the bullets loaded had real brass caps, but no powder. After the cut, the propsmaster ( not the armsmaster - he had left the set for the day ) dry-fired the gun to get the **** off, knocking an empty cartridge into the barrel of the gun. The gun was loaded with blanks ( which usually contain the double or triple the powder of a normal bullet to make a loud noise ). Brandon entered the set carrying a bag of groceries containing an explosive blood pack. As Brandon entered the room, Michael Massee (Funboy) was supposed to shot Brandon (Eric Draven), triggering the blood pack. Instead, the cartridge that was stuck in the barrel was blasted at Brandon through the bag he was carrying, killing him. The footage of the scene was destroyed without being developed.

- So he shot himself in the temple after this ???

Is he still dead?

Clonehead,
I was pointing out that some of the best Martial Artists are no longer with us.
I admit I was wrong about the manner of Brandon Lee's death. However, it could be construed in post #5 that you were stating that he was alive. You cleared that up in post #19.
Brandon Lee was incredibly talented in the Martial Arts.
He was killed with a prop gun.
And it is/was a huge waste.
Note the bold type above and the props also listed above and be kind enough to refer to your own "preferred link".
When you point a finger, remember 3 others are pointing at you.
Here endeth the rant.
