Lancer Evolution X TC Corrupt?

I bought the XL version of Gran Turismo and when I downloaded the Racing Car Pack, all the TC cars had racing tire instead of the Lancer TC. Is this normal?

Do you mean that all cars have racing tires except for the evo? Or that the evo is missing altogether?

I think it's because the EVO is a some kind of rally car. Rally cars have sports tyres in GT5.

The evo has sports softs iirc and it is normal.

I believe the Evo X TC is considered to be a rally car by the game. The game gives rally cars sports tires.

???This is unusual since the Subaru Impreza TC has the racing tires.

The Impreza TC is more of a race car than a rally car. The Impreza RM is more rally-ish, but RMs for the most part keep their original tires.

Subaru and Mitsubishi both have RM's and TC's, but the types of car are swapped around
Impreza RM> Rally, Evo IX RM> Race

This makes sense. It would be pointless to release similar cars with similar purposes in the same DLC, so they made both of them for different uses.
