lap times with polyphony 0001

on deep forrest raceway with the polyphony 0001, i got a lap time of 0:45.846, is that really good? i mean ive tried doin it again and all i can manage to get is 48 seconds or above..

If you drove 45.846 I suggest you register there and prove your lap. I Better hope it is a clean lap!

well i dunno how i really did it, and i dun believe i did it but it said that, but yeh, i mustve done incredibly well....i was really taking it tight around the corners..

im gonna have a hack later on on that track and see wot happends... then ill put my best lap in the site.

There's a forum for this. Oddly enough it's called "Spot Races and Lap Time Comparisons.

In order to acheive the time you claim, several things would have to have happened.

You must have cut every corner you could cut.
You must have ridden every barrier youcould ride.
Time and space warped.

In any case, don't register at GT3Times, or any other online database, and post that time, because you will be banned on the spot. A legitimate lap is done in a single player mode, has no contact with any barrier/wall/rock-face and at least some part of at least two wheels must be on the track/rumble-strip at any time.

If you're claiming 48s laps as well, the above also applies, since, as mentioned, the fastest ever recorded legal lap was 48.550 (with the 48.497 currently in the process of being proved).

hrmmmmm well..as i said, i think the game just screwed up when it recorded the time because it is impossible to get 45 seconds, i tried to get a best lap last night but i could only manage a 51 sec lap for my best, and i guess it isnt a legitimate lap because around a few corners there is only 2 wheels on the ground, and i take all the corners as close as i can get...and yeh i wasnt planning to put my times on GT3times
