As Sam48 said that was a video frame from a real camera recording.
I think that it's really difficult they will reach the real Nascar amount of cars.
I suppose they can use much more than 16 on those circuits because they are not reach, in detail, as City tracks.
I am not a Nascar fan but after I saw that video I started to think of playing Nascar races with friends... that should be a lot of fun.
If normal people mention Q4, that's Q4 Calendar Year!
Otherwise they normally mention that they're talking about the fiscal year.
Don't be so pessimistic.
GT5 will be here before January 2011.
I just hope they've got an upgraded version of the track just like they did with the Nürburgring !

But, this weekend and the start of next week are going to be jam packed with racing goodness. F1 Canadian GP, 24 hours of Le Mans, and then E3 early next week to top it all off.
That video is one of the latest officlal trailers we saw, together with the 'night' one. My guess is that they will just use it to capture people attention (we saw a picture, maybe they are also showing the other trailer).
If there are news about GT5 Nascar as we expected, they will be at E3.
In any event, I agree that showing Nascar at Le Mans is quite curious.
Those signs right after Tetre Rouge heading into the Mulsanne straight must've cost Sony some pretty pennies because it's prominent and will appear many times during the race broadcast. Last year GT sign was either at Arnage or indianapolis although I'm not 100% sure.
They said 2010 to the general public! I'm 100% sure it's the calendar year.
