LEAST Favourite corner

- The entire Top Gear Test track. It's an abomination. :yuck:

- Turn 3 at Laguna Seca. On the map it looks like a simple 90 deg corner.. but noooo, I always have to mess up :grumpy:

- The third downhill twist out of 3 on the Eiger Nordwand, particularly in a kart. You go down the first twist, fine, not nice but fine, the second one, annoying yes, but fine, the third one, not nice, OH YOU'VE SPUN.

The trick in a kart is to completely miss the apex and drive around the outside where there's less of a bump/camber change, stops the wheels from spinning. But goddamn when you're pushing hard in an online race and you do a 180 deg spin it's so frustrating.

That corner is ridiculously easy to get right if you don't floor it halfway through the concrete!!

My least favorite is Degner at Suzuka. I hate the whole track as a whole, straights and grandstands included, but Degner is the one I hate most.

My least favorite on the ring of agony is the corner directly after the jump. It doesn't matter which game it is, it is the corner that I almost detest more than Suzuka. I hate jumping and then making a sudden turn.

1. Aremberg @ Nurburgring...I always want to take that sweeping left hander at full throttle and end up understeering into the grass, and of course that just completely messes up the entry into the hairpin right after and usually end up going in the gravel there (which is very hard to get out of :grumpy:)

2. the two right handers @ Laguna Seca after the first hairpin, always try to push too hard and end up in the dirt

I have a new "least favourite corner"... The Last corner of the Mt. Aso circuit of the Supercar Nostalgia Seasonal...

Côte d'Azur: Corners 10-11 (the chicane of death), crashing here pretty much ends the race, if one's not careful enough. Also corners 16-18; I always drive too wide and make myself vulnerable to an inside pass, if in a close battle as I often use slightly underpowered cars for extra excitement.

Ras'caste? That corner is pretty cool.

Autumn Ring. That sweeping curve between the Mini circuit hairpin and the flyover before the carousel. After all the years of playing GT, I have NEVER CRACKED THAT BEND.

Schwedenkruez. I can never seem to get it perfect.
Haha I love that corner!
Metsgesfeld use to get me good, but now I have forged an agreement with that corner...it lets me through without to much trouble.:D:tup:
The toughest corner's for me is Turn 2 and 3 of Laguna Seca. They are very hard to find the right turn in point.

I loathe sharp corners that hold me a while to escape from, the toughest ones are the first corner at the Indy road track and a 180 degrees turning at the Madrid circuit.

My bitches...

the Nurburgring just loathe the place period

Leguna seca a close second - the up hill blind hard left followed by a huge dipping hard right .... I'm crashing again.....

The Nurburg GP - the first set of turns - hairpin into two consecutive lefts and then to a hard right - if I make it through the second left I'm sure to miss the right hander......

seen alot of posts about "the ring" maybe just me but that Carousel is one of my favorite turns.

Fuji- it is bland but for some reason I REALLY prefer the race track to any of the city layouts. Fuji has a bunch of really cool long bending turns that are more than just power on - like the carousel at the ring its all about control of the gas pedal....

The last corner at Fuji before the straight, the one that gets sharper halfway through? I absolutely hate that corner. :ouch:

I agree with the last corner at Fuji, hate it. Also, most of the corners on the tracks made with the editor, blind down/up hill cambered hairpins etc.

The right-hander after Breidscheid on Nürburgring. I think it's called "Ex-Mühle". I think it's right after the lowest point of the track.

It's uphill, with a nasty bump in the middle which pushes your car to the left and instantly on the grass, if you're just slightly too fast. But if you're taking it too slow, you have the first part of the uphill straight coming after it, so you lose a lot of time.

You get the feeling that you got it right about 1 time out of 50.

Hate. Hate. HATE.

Oh, and Madrid Mini turn 2/3 (depending, if you count it as one or two corners). Left-hander with tighter apex on the second part. Just can't get it right.

I absolutely hate the double hairpin in the indy roas course, I have NEVER got it right no matter what speed I take it at lol

Schwedenkreuz. The only way I get through that corner with a fast-ish car is by braking waaaay earlier than what the correct braking spot is. What can you do though, have to get around it. I take it as a challenge.

Sometimes I do feel like crushing my controller with my head though.

That corner needs you to break halfway through, which is a pain if you have no ABS on :P

I've never been able to do that one, you either go wide or pretty much stop dead

All of Special Stage Route 5 Reverse, I just can't get into the flow of the corners like I can with the forward incarnation.

+1 About Fuji Thank Herman Tilke for that, the man responsible for turning all the F1 circuits nowadays in wide highways ending in mickey mouse turns...

Just a tip, if you apex it later and use understeer to scrub speed, you shouldn't have to brake. You shouldn't be braking while cornering anyway.
