There were a few issues last night, but fun anyway. First of all, I could not get musomaniak and RacerPaul to join the chat room. I tried several times but no luck. I think it is very odd that UK members could not join as there were no problems previously. Something to do with our internet connections? I dont know.
Fatkrakr was disconnected and could not rejoin. It was a shame, as all the practice and tuning were all for nothing. I hope you can sort it out mate. I had a freeze at the start of the first race. Bang frozen screen and a wheel rattling like a snake on steroids. I had no choice but to eject and load again.
The question of resetting after a spin or accident? I was behind Vaxxtx, fighting for the last place in Race 2 and all went t'ts up for Vaxx when a car appeared from nowhere in front of him. There was nothing Vaxx could do but hit the car and spun out. I passed and could see Vaxx a long way behind, so I slowed down, let him pass and the two of us had a good laugh racing for last place. So it is a problem when someone resets. It can cost you a place or spoil your race for that matter.
My suggestion is that we ban the reset for the next meeting (unless you are in last place and it does not really matter). Caution must be excercised in rejoining. Check the track map and be aware of who is behind you and where they are. Rather wait a few seconds and prevent a pile up. I leave this up to you guys...I am open for any suggestions regarding the reset button, but let's sort it out before Sunday's race.
Screen shots of the results is a good idea as bmwisme said in his post. That is how I record the results. How musomaniak's 2nd place showed up as a 3rd on my screenshot, is a mystery to me. I however have to post the results as it shows up on my screen, otherwise it is going to cause a serious headache for me trying to verify each and every place.
Well enough said on the problems. Congratulations to the polesitters and in particular TexasTyme. Three wins in 3 races....and with a controller. WTF !!! Texas you must surely be one of the fastest racers in the world with that controller. I can just say well done mate, but have mercy on us mortals next time. FLX good racing mate, I hope you will join again on Sunday.
North America has taken a significant lead in the Continental Trophy. Europe needs all the support it can get now. Rom I hope you can help on Sunday. We need to find some inspiration somewhere
