OMFG I almost **** my pant when I saw that vid. The sense of speed was unbelievable. If I remember correctly that track was feature in the Test Drive LeMan 24hrs game. That game rocks, except the bastard that borrow it never return it back

This must be from Gran Turismo for children ... a street car backfiring like crazy, and that cheering crowd again, lap after lap after lap after lap after ...

what i have heard Backfire appears when you change the exhaust to racing. normal exhaust dont have backfire.

Huh? It backfired only 4 - 5 times and it's tuned with racing exhaust, listen to the sound! No DMC sound like that.

Actually, that DeLorean is tuned.. remember all that discussion we've had about the "Stage 2" upgrades to the car by DMC? Here's a quick breakdown of what's done:

"...accomplished through a less restrictive coated and polished exhaust, a change in camshafts and other proven tuning techniques. It also includes the Nology Performance Ignition components..."

Perhaps someone with a bit of tuning knowledge could tell us whether this sort of upgrade is apt to producing backfire? It wouldn't surprise me.. after all, their modifications did result in a horsepower boost of over 50%.

I'm glad the DeLorean at least has a fairly respectable sound.. I was afraid it might end up sounding like an S2000 or something.. hehe. Although, to be honest, I'm not entirely sure what a DMC-12 actually sounds like stock.

edit: cobra, a GT-One with less than 200 PS of course can´t handle it but it would do about 370KM/h though it did 351 on the track WITH the shikanes!

Indeed although the GT-ONE CAN handle those speeds because of its aerodynamic design,much better then the Nissan.
