The scoring system is simple. For every driver in a race, 10 points are added to the system. So if there are 6 people and one wins, he gets 60 points, 2nd place is 50 points and so on.

RULES:

1. No strong language.
2. No intentional crashing.
3. Car must be 150 horsepower or under.
4. Must use a different car every race.
5. Cash for each car+tuning options are limited to 15k.
6. For every broken rule, racer will be forced to make a mandatory pitting. If not, the racer will be DQ.
7. Comfort hard tires only.

Edit: It also came with comfort soft, will comfort hard be included in the budget as well?

Is this an attempt to make people leave? I made it so people can substitute drivers that leave if the first race hasn't begun. Only for Group B though. Once race 1 takes off, no more substitutions.

Anyways, I'll update the standings to include the scoring system. Also, off topic here, zombie Jeff Gordon is kinda creepy.

Anything new takes time to evolve and become something. Whilst not the moest ideal settings I would like to race in, it still managed to provide me with my best online experience so far.

This. Some series on here had some half-baked rules as if a pre-schooler had thought of them, yet they were enjoyable by the players who joined them.

Good point. We're into ( something like ) the 3rd month of GT5's existance. We'll all still be racing this game on-line in 3 or 4 years. This is just the infant stage.

There will be twists and different arrangements made, new ideas that'll strike a chord or others that'll fall flat. Series will come and go, at the moment we're still working out our own on-line tastes.

Don't sweat the details, live and let live.

But I guess it's fair for someone to not see what we're referring to as this is the 3rd thread for these races. Looking at the OP of this thread doesn't really relate what this series is based on.

It's like this:

There's a racing series in the U.S. that allows people to turn in old junk cheap cars and race them flat out without a care for the car's well being. There is a price/budget limit which is low, you can't go over it. It makes for a race series that's just a whole bunch of fun for little money.

Cheap cars = Lemons race

Uh-Oh. I stopped looking at the 12,001-14,999 cr or 99+ hp cars! I had better start again, just in case!

I am ok with whatever is decided. Just please if possible give a good amount of warning if Thursdays are merged in to Wednesdays. I don't want to miss anything.
