My best was in the 1:47s but I don't remember any more than that. Maybe 1:47.3. I had maybe 5 laps in the 1:47s.

Oddly enough, my best times were also 1:47s. I think I got down to 1:47.1 was my best.

From reading some of the posts above. I too had tried other cars on this track in practice. I had a few rear wheel drive ones and had trouble keeping them under control. Even one with a sports suspension, still no good. So I went with the FF option.

Looking forward to the next race.

Got a Honda Accord for about 14,117. Gave it an oil change and now it's good to go!

I won't be able to make it to this week's race as I'll be travelling. I'm disappointed because I was hoping to show off my secret weapon this week! I did a little testing tonight at Autumn Ring to compare it to last week's car and on my second lap I ran a 1:46.6XX which is significantly faster than anything I ran last week. Maybe with a little more seat time and a big dash of luck I'll be able to catch WiiFreak!

Well if you have a secret weapon . . . 💡 . here's an idea. Might be better to use it at La Sarthe or Nurburgring.

So I wouldn't feel too bad about missing the next race.

Guys, I think we will have to move Race 2 to Thursday. I have something to do on Wednesday. Also, I keep thinking about having other racing leagues Tuesday and Thursday, as I do a weekly NASCAR Race every Tuesday, and if there is any interest a WRC championship. We can just do the races every two weeks if we really like. How does that sound?

Nope, but a car used by someone else can be used by another driver. Now about the All Star Race, should it have the "Top 6" drivers enter and the race be 3 laps?

Ok, so I think that before the All-Star Race at the 'Ring I should take a look at the leader's cars, so I can see if someone was cheating. Just an idea so the racing can be fair.

A reminder of our race tomorrow. Instead of Circuit de la Sarthe, I was thinking about having a vote of a select few tracks to use instead. A race at la Sarthe would be too long. It's up to you.

100 miles is 100 miles whether you do it in 10 laps or 50 laps. I'd vote to keep La Sarthe if I could. In all honesty it'd likely be a shorter race time-wise because its such a high speed track.
