Headed to Wal-Mart at 5pm today to wait for my new laptop.

What are other GTPlanet Members getting this shopping holiday?

I'm hoping to get a new TV for my bedroom, but not from black friday. I have to work at walmart, BOOOOO. Not gonna be fun.

A hangover.

We're not all blessed with the benefit of a sales period at this time. Or the same holidays for that matter. :(

Roll on Spring Festival!!!

I already have everything I need. No Black Friday for me.

Anyhow, that would be considered racist against the black race in the UK. Would never happen. One cannot even be 'black listed' any more.

A couple years when someone used the term "Black Hole" a large portion of the African American community got pissed and called it racist.

Since I don't have a car, and my parents hate Black Friday, I won't be getting anything for Black Friday. Can't wait until I'm 16 to drive to a store. At least there's good sales after Christmas.

Ahhh the January sales. Just around my birthday, great time to spend some birthday cash.

Great time to spend 3 years worth of accumulated, stored in the UK wealth!

Romford market here I come!!!

shem, stop posting and go to bed. I know it's addictive and I have that problem too, but you keep saying "I'm going to bed" but you never do. Bad shem. :sly: ;)

I haven't even looked at the ads yet, so I don't know what I'm doing on Black Friday.

I think I'm actually more interested on Cyber Monday though. I do need to get myself a new hard drive.

A hangover.

Again?

Most of the sales from Black Friday often show later in the year before X-mas. I've stopped caring about Black Friday for the most part, though I may head out later on Friday and see what video games are on sale. But screw door busters; the people and mentality there blow me away.

I already did my black friiday shopping, all I got were 2 shirts from hot topic. I saw this one guy waiting in line at target, a line that stretches all the way around the store, wanting to buy only a bag of potato skins. It was kind of hilarious to see.

Black Friday? Why can't we people just buy on the saturday before Christmas evening?

This day does not make sense.

I slept until 11 AM, went to Walmart, got my $28 copy of BF3, and got out in 10 minutes. Sucks for all the people who had to go at midnight .

This year I'm just gonna get a lump of cash from my parents, and we're just gonna go to london and spend it in the sales! :D

A couple of applications from Mac App Store and a signed print from The Oatmeal.

I'm not a cat person, but I thought it looked pretty neat.
If it didn't have free shipping, I wouldn't have bought it because the shipping cost is ridiculous to Sweden.

According to my economics teacher from 3 years ago it is to get companies into the "Black" between costs and profits, where "Red" is losing money, and "Green" is where you make profits.

Well I went across the line at midnight and so incredibly worth it. Walmart wasn't busy then either.

Went to a mall where pretty much the whole mall was open so got some good deals. I posted a bunch in the show off your latest purchase thread but:

La Noire- $20
High speed gold plated Monster HDMI- $15!
Asics 2170 shoes at $79 which was 60% compared to here.
Sims 3 pets for ps3 $25
Bunch of soap stuff for presents at 4 for $15
Boots for $20 each at 50% off
Stainless steel blender for $20
Penguin cookie jar for $20
Waffle maker $20
Glove liners $2

I think that was about it although I know I'm forgetting things. We spent $280 I'm total and at last count about $150-200 in savings compared to home. As an added bonus... I am 100% done Christmas shopping and its not even December yet :)

I spent the day wandering around a junkyard with my brother and some friends. No special sales going on there, but we got some excellent deals.

Personally, I'm not currently fortunate enough to have possession of enough currency to buy anything at the actual black Friday sales. I want Skyrim so bad though... :(

I got the PS3 Move Mayhem package with Resistance 3 and Killzone 3 for $120 at best buy. All in all it was a really great deal, also picked up The Departed Blu Ray, HP Part 2, and Unknown blu rays for 5-10 a piece. Oh and some Xbox headset (cant remember which brand). All in all a good sub $200 day.

First time I've ever heard the green bit mentioned. Just red and black in most books I've seen. But who knows.
