LAP #1:
It's Lights-Out from upstate New York for the 2nd time tonight. It'll be up to
@CdnSweetTee to lead the field to Turn #1. Behind her, it seems that
@JakeMk8 and
@MichelQC21 both suffered wheel spin at the start and lose several positions.
LAP #1 - Lead Change:
@Kgffy started from the 3rd row but somehow exits Turn 1 with the lead.
@CdnSweetTee hangs on to 2nd place and
@llNovall finds himself in 3rd.
LAP #1:
Unfortunate incident towards the end of Lap #1. It looks like
@CdnSweetTee came out of Turn 9 sliding and struggled to re-stabilize her car.
@JDMKING13 had a quick decision to make, go left or go right. He picked left but
@CdnSweetTee's car came sliding across the track and into the wall they went.
LAP #3:
@Bologna_Duc paying homage to the BMW M3 GT3 that was victorious at the Glen in 2025 by applying its livery to his Z4. He's currently in 4th at Turn 7, with
@socalnatv and
@bublyman right behind him.
LAP #5:
@Kgffy still leads, by a decent margin already. But cars 2 through 6 are all bunched up together as shown here at Turn 8.
LAP #8:
@DRD_Niagara, in 3rd, really wanted
@llNovall's position being mindful of the group of cars behind him. This was the closest he'd get to him on the onset of the straight at Lap #8 but
@llNovall kept the door closed and defended it well. It was not the last time
@llNovall would come under attack in this one.
LAP #11:
The pace is pretty quick up front.
@socalnatv managed to get ahead of
@DRD_Niagara and about to mount his assault on
@llNovall.
@bublyman and
@Bologna_Duc in 4th and 5th.
LAP #12:
Just out of frame in the previous picture was
@DublDee who is not far from the action.
@Bologna_Duc exited Turn 1 with a slip which made him vulnerable on the straight to
@DublDee's powerful Corvette.
@DublDee gets ahead but touches grass at the Bus-Stop entry and can't stick the landing. (But he gave us a cool picture) He'd spin and drop from 6th to 11th.
LAP #14:
@socalnatv's attack (
@bublyman about to join in) on
@llNovall is in full swing and for
@llNovall, this race can't end soon enough. He does maintain his position on this occasion. Just behind them is a trio of
@DRD_Niagara,
@Bologna_Duc and
@JakeMk8.
LAP #16:
@socalnatv finds a way through and
@llNovall's focus now shifts to defend against
@bublyman. Just behind,
@DRD_Niagara is leaking a little oil and feeling the heat from
@Bologna_Duc.
LAP #16:
@DublDee came to the Glen with high hopes. And why not? He won the event in 2025 (Pole and Race #1 win) but this trip has been a nightmare for him. He's got every mechanic in the WKM garage working deep into the night and the accountants revising the 2026 Team operating budget.
LAP #17:
With 2 Laps to go, still lots of action up front.
@Kgffy is long gone and
@socalnatv established in 2nd.
@DRD_Niagara's Turn 1 wasn't great and allowed
@Bologna_Duc through to 5th.
@JakeMk8 has had a fine race and in a position to benefit should any incidents in front of him occur.
LAP #18:
@Kgffy took the lead upon exiting the very first turn of the race and wins big and it's a solo victory picture for him and he was just about a whole sector ahead of anybody else. It's his 2nd win of the season and he'll be joined by
@socalnatv and
@llNovall on the podium.
And just as he did in Race #1, he bags the F.L. Bonus with a 1:43.527, over a full half second ahead of
@bublyman's 1:44.120.
LAP #18:
I picked this one up from the cutting room floor at the last minute. While not exactly a photo finish, Position 3 (
@llNovall) through Position 7 (
@JakeMk8) all came home, after 18 Laps at the Glen, separated by less than 3 seconds. Good luck finding another series that offers that kind of parity.
