Welcome to Cooking with Queen Bee.

Today you'll need..

* 3 slices of bread
* 2 boiled and peeled potatoes
* 1/4 cup boiled green peas
* 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
* 1/4 cup chopped carrot
* 1/4 cup chopped cabbage
* vegetable oil
* tomato slices, for garnish
* tomato ketchup

(You can change the vegtables to suit your taste.)

So once you have gathered all those together. You'll need to follow these four simple, easy steps to a quick and heathly meal.

Directions:
1. In a bowl put peas, green pepper, carrot, cabbage, potatoes and bread. Put salt to taste.

2. Mash all the ingredients together. Make small round balls from this mixture.

3. Heat 1 Tablespoon of vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. After 2-3 minutes put the mixture balls in the frying pan. Fry lightly until the balls turn crisp and light brown on both sides.

4. Serve the veggie balls hot with tomato ketchup and garnish the plate with chopped cabbage and tomato slices, if you so wish.

And here is the finished result!

Save a tree, eat a beaver :D.

Mmmmmm... Beaver. Those things are so difficult to catch, though. They're all over the place if you look in the right spots, but every time I try to grab them they run away! I might have to start tranquilizing them. :dunce:

Don't worry Keef, most teenage boys have this problem ;)

- 'grabbing' them is probably always going to end up with a slap. Rohypnol probably isn't a good idea either.

hahaha :lol: this is a brilliant thread......soon we will have loadsa GTP recipes!... and become housewives! :sick: A gran turismo forum talking about mayonnaise, now Ive seen it all...

Pity I cant cook to save my life... but I may find some special recipies from my parents to put here lol!

We had some 'Americano' sausages from ASDAs Extra Special range. I was expecting alot more flavour from them tbh. No flavours that 'took hold' in my mouth like I was expecting.

I caught my thumb (between the main joint and bendy bit) on the element (it was on around 3 1/2 the hottest is 5 which is around 800C. So I think 3 1/2 was around 400ish.

I have a inch long and cm wide burn mark now. it stings. It barely felt like I made contat with a cm of the element let alone 1 inch of it!

Uncle's "I got this new deep-frier" Super-Platter.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED!

A new frier.
Lots of stuff to fry: Catfish, clams, shrimp, onions, and, of course, fries.
A desire to show off your new frier.
A huge metal tin to put everything into.

Enjoy! :)

Nummers! I have had a horrible craving for catfish the past few days, and my Mom had the audacity to go out and buy some without telling me, and then eat it all herself.

...Sometimes I hate spending all-day at school and at work...

I made some really good pork fajitas the other day, and I wish I would have taken pictures, but it was messy and took two hands most of the time. Darn. I've been meaning to share the meatloaf recipe, but I have yet to do it...

No tater tots? No corn dogs? No jalapeño poppers? No crab Rangoons? No cheese sticks?

You people are weird! :odd:

Gimmegimmegimme. With either marinara, salsa or ketchup please (marinara being first choice, salsa second):drool:

Well except that I'm vegetarien. So just give me the onions, fries, cheese, jalapenos, and tater tots.

I agree with the corndogs. You needed corndogs. Throw out those weirdo clams and get corndogs, because you know it was the clams that gave you diarrhea and not John's latency. Oh, and some hushpuppies. Everyone loves hushpuppies.

Don't worry; we had to eat all of that fried stuff for like a week. :scared:

so, anyway, let's continue with Mom's LET'S EAT THESE STEAKS BEFORE THE HURRICANE COMES AND KNOCKS OUT THE POWER SO THE STOVE STOPS WORKING AND THE FOOD IN THE FRIDGE GOES BAD!

WHAT YOU'LL NEED!

A randomly huge steak: Porterhouse or go home.
Hurricane Wilma 50 miles away.
Electric Appliances
Corn
My mom's special roasted potatoes (that's another entry in itself)

Voila:

Nice looking Porterhouse! Look at the size of that tenderloin! :eek: Impressive. Porterhouse is my favorite cut of beef.

👍

Yeah, we saw it at the butcher in the little italian marketplace we go to. We were in awe and stuff. Hahaha. It was a damn good price, though. Instant-buy.

Sadly, I've never become a fan of different sorts of beef. I'm not a steak guy, and I don't think I've ever had a filet mignon. Just about the only type of beef I eat comes in the form of a burger. I should be a burger connoisseur. Or maybe I should get out and try myself some steak?

There's this really good joint over here that makes an awesome Gorgonzola burger. It has a teriyaki marinade with gorgonzola crumbles on top. You should try one if there are any places near you that have something similar.

(or, in the spirit of the thread, you could make your own)
