I got there on Sunday. Thank you endurance saves!

Now, I just need to do that other 24-hour race, gold the AMG driving academy, and gold that dreadful Alfa Romeo 8C grand tour to get platinum.

Some say you have to turn all the aids off, others tell you to be a real man and learn how to drive a manual. I've only done the former, and the closest I've gotten was half a second off gold. :grumpy:

Golding the X2010 challenge at Monza was easier than this.

I would LOVE to platinum GT5 since it is my favorite game, but I just dont see myself having the time or patience to do so. I feel like by the time Im really close and just about to get it, it will become irrelevant as GT6 will probably already be out -__________- 👎

Will that 200% bonus work if you sign-in to your account 1 hour before you finish 24 hr or do you have to be signed in for full 24hr
 
I'm 28A-35B on an old account and 27A-30B on my current one. Never even heard of rubber banding or glitches til today!

Not sure I fancy doing long enduro/24hr races more than once if that's what it takes so might be an idea if I get to that stage.

Love the way people take it so seriously tho :)

I need to start leveling up another driver for B-Spec. Ran my first endurance race and was surprised to see how much a fatigued driver will drive like crap.
 
A spec lvl 40, B spec lvl 40 all dealer cars bought and working through the UCD, 620 cars so far. No cheats just LOTS of grinding on extreme like the wind over and over and over again. LOL Then somebody told me about the seaonal events!
Nurburgring in the peugeot lmp over and over and over and over again!
Glad its over, and Im glad I bought all the expensive caes before the spec 2.0 update.
Im wondering what pd is up to by making double experience on races? Are they trying to get everybody to lvl 40 for some reason?
I was wondering after I got lvl 40 what percentage of players get to lvl 40 a spec and b spec?

Have no idea mate but dont think you need to be signed in for the whole time. Once a day is enough if only for 30 seconds. I was on the 200% & started the 24hr race. Using the save feature it took me 4 or 5 days to finish it off. I kept backing up the save on a usb stick every time i'd had enough. Next time i loaded the game i'd pop into gt without continuing the race just for a break. Take some pics for the comps etc. Then quit game & load up the save from the stick & get on with the race. I guess as i was backing up from a save with 200 % & was logging in to the GT servers every day it stuck 👍
 
I got to level 40 after I finished the 24 hr of lemans. I still got the sign on bonus when I finished. It took me 3 days to do it.
 
A spec 40 now. Underwhelming even though I don't grind/glitch, i am still a crap driver who can't handle even mr2 (far less yellowbird) on sports hard, can't maintain a drift, could not gold all licenses (tho more than halfway) and could not win dirt rally.
I think seasonals gave too much experience points to make it real.
 
Aiming for 40/40 on third account now LOL
1st one no seasonalls and no grinding. 40 A 40B.
2nd used seasonalls and grinding but no money glitching. 40 A
3rd underway.
 
Just out of interest, what is the point of level 40? ok i understand some of the enduros require certain levels (which makes little sense as ive been "allowed" to race in NASCAR lol) but there is very little incentive ot move up a level. If only the used thelevel system intelligently and gave decent unlocks etc. The car level locks for example...pointless and most were driveable after a few hours. XP andlevel are meaningless unless it unlocks/lead to something. Can anyone share their thoughts on why they want to level up to 40 once they have reached 30?

Level 40 doesn't really mean anything now unless you truly got it legit :\ I'm level 31 currently ;)

And the meaning of your post is what? How could you not get to level 40 legit? What is there some kind of glitch that allows you to get to level 40 without doing anything?
 
Well I've finally got there, racing around the family and kids, don't get a lot of gt time a week.


Got to level 38 not really worrying about level 40 but decided was virtually there so would concentrate on the higher xp races to get the last two done.

Now will just race for the fun of I again.

Also bobs half way through 38. May show him some love over the coming weeks.
 
Been at level 40 b spec for months and just recently gained level 40 a spec, all legit, think my total driving distance is around 78,000 miles, considering the length of time and effort it took to get there it was very undramatic, just a 'ding' to confirm the trophy, but hey, I got there nonetheless.

Pretty much how I got there. I grinded so many of the Ferrari and K-Cup seasonals it isn't even funny lol.

I did a 4hr Nurb endurance last night and finished up with a couple K-Cup seasonals to hit 40 A-spec.:)
 
Got closer (by 100 000) after racing the 9 hour race at Tsukuba.

Raced in the GT Allstar and got to 40 after a couple of races after nearly a year of playing!

I hate under ???PP races, I prefer under ???BHP races better 400-660BHP. show real skill to race those power limited cars clean and I prefer clean races as I host and if people are dirty races I'll leave race and kick the instigator from the room.
