Just about hitting level 37 now. Nailed it down to needing 18 million more XP before hitting level 40.

Fastest way to get there:

2 24Hr of Le Mans
1 Tsukuba 9hr
1 Indy 500
Finish off with grinding the La Sarthe on the Ferarri Seasonal..

I'd do this now but no time lol. I'd like to wait for the mod-race saves to come first though.

Done it some time ago, but it left a unsatisfied feeling behind: Whats the point of it ???

Same here. Oh, no, hang on, that's on my alt!

The point of reaching level 40 is that you go into annoyance mode, where you are presented with a dialog box after each race telling you that you've received absolutely no experience points!!

hit level 40 last night, all legit, but disappointed that you dont win anything unless you have completed all the championships.

as with others, waiting for in game saves before I tackle the 24hr endurance races.

also need to do the Formula GT championship as I am just useless in that car, think I push too hard and get bored of it after 15 laps.

I hit 40 a week ago, all legit too, thank god for the seasonals!!!!! or i would still be somewhere in the 30`s, A spec no fun anymore, too little points/money, hope spec 2 helps address this.......

Level 40. All legit and I have a complete hatred for the Indy oval to prove it....Thank god for the seasonals as I think they saved my sanity

About 1/4 way through level 37. As soon as spec 2 roles around I hope to finish the endurances.

Checking in. . . I will have to admit. I got up around 38 and the first glitch came. I used it to rack up my level and my garage.

However since then. I could hit 40 maybe twice. Hahaha B-Spec is 40 too. Errr I think it is.

Oooooo the endurance saves nice I will finally be doing actual races again.

Hell, one of my accounts has done ONLY Seasonal Events, and it's already at a level 30, and I haven't really messed with it in months.

I hit L40 A- and B-spec quite some time ago. Seasonals are really the only thing keeping me coming back. Spec 2.0 will keep me interested, as will DLC.

What are these glitches?

What are these glitches?

It was the GT-R at SSR the long one. Got under the track.

We worked to get fast laps with in this glitch. I was down to like 1.8 seconds. I had my car in a spin with about the drivers being the rotational spot. Flat spin if you will. Ripped through 200 laps in like 7 minutes. That's including raving down glitching and racing back to start finish.

I did have a lot of fun banking cash and buying cars. Felt like a billionaire sorta. Hahaha

Thank you 200 % log in bonus :D

I don't know how you guys did it. Every few months I get a bit motivated to reach level 40 and think I can do it slowly by doing an A-spec event every once in a while. Then I play one event and become completely disheartened about A-spec and the AI. I cannot compel myself to play A-spec, I just can't. Good for you guys though.

I had bascially resigned myself to reaching A-spec this upcoming Christmas time, as I was about lvl 34, and I had completed all the races up to a certain point, and wasn't eligible for any new ones.

Then the Ferrari seasonal at le Sarthe came out, and I became fixated on grinding for credits and earning all the high dollar cars.

Eventually, it worked itself out. I have still not done the A-spec Tsukuba 9hr, the le Sarthe 24 hr or the Nurb 24hr, but have them completed in B spec.

But I think I hit lvl 40 A-spec sometime back in August. Not real concerned, just did my thing, and it eventually happened.

Lets see... bought my third ps3 about 2 years ago, got GT5 as soon as it came out. That was my Mylo-Type-R account, got to level 28 all legit. Then because I tried to dupe a few cars and got it all wrong trying to follow a youtube "how to" video i accidentally deleted my save data (learned my lesson, never did it again). Then I had to start all over from scratch and ended up getting to about level 29 again on A spec and 30 on B spec on my CR-Mylo-Type-R account. I sold my PS3 and ended up getting a 4th PS3 about a month ago. I am now level 33 A Spec and 24 B Spec on my new Mylo-Is-Stig account. Did it take people long to get from 33 to 40?

Longer than getting from 1 to 33 thats for sure

ahhhhh crap! :yuck: well hopefully that 200% will help me out as it means i should do it in half the amount of time it used to take. What race is good for grinding after lets say 35? Or are they going to continue with the seasonal events that give a **** load of XP which I enjoyed a lot. The ones that you start like in 16th place and have 5 laps to come in 1st.

I got there on Sunday. Thank you endurance saves!

Now, I just need to do that other 24-hour race, gold the AMG driving academy, and gold that dreadful Alfa Romeo 8C grand tour to get platinum.
