This might be off topic (if so please let me know where I should move this topic) but I would like to share a story of me sitting inside the LFA for the first time and probably the only time lol :)

As I bought a brand new Lexus IS few years ago, I have been invited to one of the Lexus event where we are able to test drive various brand new cars on an autocross. I test drove brand new BMW 335i, Audi A4, Benz C and Lexus IS350 FSport. In another section, they have a timed autocross with the Lexus IS350 F Sport (real car on real road) and a LFA simulation game (i think it is GT5?) so whoever putting down the top lap times in either of the two will have a chance to get a ride in a Lexus LFA with a professional driver. I'm lucky to win one and get to sit in the LFA the first time. Below are not my videos but you will get the idea.

Interior view inside the LFA driven on the autocross by a pro :D

Notice the drifting in the mid section :D

@Brunoblak is from Brazil. He frequently pops in these Seasonal Event threads and posts his videos. He doesn't usually say anything, but I'm guessing it's just a language barrier issue. His laps are usually very, very good. Until someone proves it is not a legit time I am going to consider it the best time so far. I've got his lap looping on my TV as I write this. I honestly do not see anything that would lead me to believe his lap is not legit. Yes, he is carrying a lot of speed into those corners. A LOT more than I could handle. But, half the people in this thread carry more speed than me through these corners. He knocked it out of the park with this lap. I am very impressed! That's 5 seconds faster than my best time...on a short track five seconds is a lot!!

Arrrghhh! I did a 1'26:818 for p11, but I'm very frustrated as there was just 0'00:001 between me and #10, and 0'00'003 for #9 :banghead:

I know I could have done it, but it's bloody hard to put it all together:irked:

BTW, I think there is something wrong with 1#'s lap. Personally, I think it's not possible to achieve that lap, at least not with this combo.

Well, here are some facts:

Don't you see anything weird in his rpm's dial?
The red zone of his dial begins at 9000 rpm's, this means the maximum power possible of his engine is:

Performance Points ----> 574 PP
Power -------------------> 620 BHP
Torque ------------------> 55.4 kgfm
Power to weight ratio --> 1.96 kg/BHP (all weight reduction parts added, in order to lower the ratio as much as possible)

This data is with the added power of an oil change + isometric exhaust manifold + intake tuning, none of them modify the red zone.

With this engine and power to weight ratio, the only way to make competitive times is adding grip to the car, adding downforce or getting tires with more grip, none of these things are possible in this TT.

Wow, this is ace! Using this got me down to 1:29.155 currently 348th in the world, after an hour with it.

...another 1.5 hours and I finally put most of my best corners together for 1:28.693 currently 187th. Happy with this, it's the best I can do here and a big improvement over attempts on the first day of the event.
Thanks to @matej2547 for this tune, I finished the seasonal in 199th place. I'm over the moon with this as I found it one of the most difficult tests but I really tried my best and very happy with this result.

Looks like trigger brake/throttle is faster than right stick now I'm getting the hang of it. L1/R1 gear shift, left stick steering, steering sensitivity 5 or more.

Wow. I didn't even think to look at the tachometer that closely. Some detective I am. :dunce: Man... I am disappoint. :grumpy:

Poder -------------------> 620 BHP
Torque ------------------> 55,4 kgfm

You seem to know a lot about editing grip to the car! How can this be done?

The brake points on that lap are very late (and very hard), and the accelerate points are very early (and very hard)... yet the car is very slow on the straights (eg; -10mph on the back straight) and obviously not using full allowed PPTs.

It's either a miracle tune or the car is running at least 1 up tyres/has extra downforce.

@Brunoblak

If the lap is legitimate, why not post your set up... let @eclipsee or @Rajman test it?

You don't seem very clever, what make you think I know something about editing grip to the car?

What you don't know too is that your car specs data can be seen in your replay file with a proper software, thing that I don't have but some moderators in GTPlanet have, maybe they will be gentle to verify your replay, I have saved your last three sub 1'26 replays in case they could not be downloaded later.

The thing about grip is probably language barrier. He pasted the translation he was using to help show that, I think.

Ultimately the truth is in the replay metadata so that's all we have to wait for. Maybe I'll get 198th!

Yeah, but we got to get someone to do it. I dont know how, and my "go-to guy" is not available:(

Does anyone have the required software and knowledge to check metadata?

I'm sorry to ask, are you guys suspecting him cheating on the seasonal with better tire, more PP or whatever that is? Shouldn't this be PD job to prevent the hacking to happen in the first place?

Another thought may be he does something in the settings that somehow exploits the glitch/bug by accident and not intentionally doing this. He seems like an excellent driver.

Alter the grip ammount of the tires or add downforce by altering the game file. You can still do this pretty much in the same way as you did in GT5 (GE).

It is PD's job, but they wont do it because they're lazy.

He is good but not that good, and those who know, can clearly see the car is not behaving the way it is supposed to be. Look at the replay and you'll see that he is not even close to the limits of the car, while Ramon is 2'nd place is.
There is no doubt he is cheating, ask any alien driver to look at it, and they'll say the same.

I have downloaded and dissected his replay and I can tell you that it is definitely NOT legit. I am not going to divulge what he did or how he did it, what matters is that the lap is not legit according to what I found in the replay file. If someone else wants to make that information public, that's fine, but I'm not going to be the one to let out such information. I noticed the tach settings the first time I seen the replay, even before @eclipse mentioned it, and that is what got me curious in the first place. Now, you can take my word on it and leave it at that, or you can get someone else to confirm it. I myself have seen all I needed to for me to come to my conclusion.

It's a real shame that he resorted to cheating. I will admit that I didn't suspect that he was cheating because he would always post his laps (uploaded to YouTube) in these threads. I didn't watch every single one, but I watched several. You could tell he was a very good driver, but now that I've gone an re-watched his LFA lap at Brands Hatch several times, I have come to the same conclusion as you guys. A real shame it is.

Even some of the best have resorted to cheating in the past, I've seen it before in GT5. These guys are good enough to be in the top 10 on a consistent basis, but I guess the temptation to resort to cheating overcomes them just so they can be #1. It is a real shame indeed.

Since the OP is not being updated (Yes, I know why), I took the libetry to collect all the posted tunes, for future reference.:)

I would wish the tunes are grouped into 2 categories: Wheel users and DS3 users. That would be super helpful because I'm only interested in wheel users tunes. Thanks.
