Wonder what kind of speed boost that Mini would have got if he blocked at the end. He might have gone from 90 to 180 in a millisecond (and won the race).

It starts with a Mini Cooper and an F094/s (US-NTSC) on Grand Valley. The Mini takes of like a bat out of hell ... the F1 sits idle. The Mini runs for something like 2 minutes when it cuts to the F1 which drops the hammer and hauls ass. Cut scenes go back and forth between the two cars the entire time and the F1 zips past the Mini about 5 seconds before the finish line.

That description is just about as good as watching the thing. Like I said earlier, it would be cool if the F1 had done a donut or two around the Mini on its way by.

Yeah I'm in the same boat as you. This is great stuff. Even in the Perfect Guide that I bought and countless other guides on the net, this is never mentioned. 👍

They had something similar at this years melbourne grand prix.a standard 3 series bmw(i think) vs a v8 supercar(larry perkins from memory) vs the bmw f1 test car. handicapped start. great fun to see the f1 absolutly smoke past the v8 at the finish line from about 200 back on the last strait. beta start saving for next year

Mismatch: noticed this last week, the F094/S starts up about 1:24.0 after the Mini, and still catches it somewhere aorund the last turn.
