...But then so is the Gymnastics at the moment...a race for bronze between GB and Ukraine, GB have just finished their last floor routine and all of the floor routines have been awesome.

Brilliant!!!!! A silver for Britain! Just awesome...

Absolutly BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!! so proud of them!! we have never done that well in the olympic gymnastics untill smith picked up that bronze in Beijing!, we've always finished 12th or something!...FANTASTIC!!!:cheers:
 
Might go back to Bronze if Japan win their inquiry.

James May is a judge btw. Looking like a .2 rise for Japan which will give them Bronze and keep GB in Silver.

It can be up to .5, .274 or more and Ukraine lose Bronze. .5 and GB lose Silver.

Ryan Lochte, Matt Grevers, Rebecca Soni, and Missy Franklin all swim in finals here in the next hour, hopefully USA can pick up some hardware and Missy can win her first of many individual medals to come :).
 
And the decision is:

Japan are now moved up into 2nd and Ukraine lose the Bronze and go into 4th and GB into Bronze.

If we hadn't messed up on the bar it would have been a silver no matter what...but still the epic fight for bronze was great.

Bad decision by the judges IMO. He may have landed on his feet but he lost control completely and almost fell on his head. I feel sorry for the Ukraine team :(

Edit: Oh yes, Missy came 8th. But I have a feeling she didn't go full throttle because she has a final in less than 20 minutes.

By the way, take a look at the fencing situation currently...South Korean fencer was beaten by a German fencer an hour ago but isn't moving from the main stage. South Korea said to be putting an appeal against the defeat...
