Ill let you know the result! :)

So apparently Lochte beat Phelps once and said, "Screw it, I'm done"? He lost that race big time, and threw away a enormous lead in the relay the other night. Missy in the final next.

Its the womens one first sorry.. with Gemma Spoffarth...and she finishes 5th!:indiff:

MUSC4EVER
Ill let you know the result! :)

I meant the Korean lady, have the swimming in the TV, watching the fencing stand.. I mean sit off on my phone.

Missy for the gold!! American record! So proud of her!

Olympic record by Grevers :)

Tancock is 4th in mens BS..:indiff:

Seebohm bombed in the last 25 metres. Absolutely gutted! A poor swim, compared to her qualifier.

Yep, USA goes 1-2 in the 100m back. Good 2 races.

Next, we have Breeja Larson and Rebecca Soni in the 100m breaststroke final and Phelps in semifinal 2 of the 200m fly.

This double-silver and no bronze medal ceremony is weird.

Start beep sounded early, I thought Larson got disqualified!! :scared: She looks terrified..

15 year old Lithuanian with gold, Soni lost by .08 of a second, Larson left out of medals.

Clary 4th in semi #1, Phelps up now.

Phelps wins semi #2 with a blazing final 50 meters. He'll be lane #6 in the final.

Phelps I can't work out. Either that race was tactical genius, and he saved energy for the final, or is just not up to it anymore. Can't wait to see tomorrow anyway.

Dunno if anyone on Twitter has seen this, but some complete tosser said this to Tom Daley:

I can't imagine how Tom must feel about that, that guy is such a 🤬! Happily, he's gone from 5,000 followers to 1 and loads of people are saying he should be banned. Hopefully he is...

How has this ****ing knob still not been banned, he's still talking ****, they put him on the news as well.

Successful troll is successful.

Hannah Miley finishes second in the 200m medley! 👍

Shiwen Ye at 16 years old, is having an unbelievable games so far. In a league of her own.

Maybe I'm just ignorant, but who is this Twitterer in question? Are we all getting our panties in a bunch because of something some dude said or does he have any actual significance?

Lot of controversy over her though as her teammate was caught with steroids in her. American team coach hinted that she too is doped.

A mixed day for team GB then..getting bronze in mens team gymnastics..but it could've been silver if it wasn't for the Japanese inquiry!, dissapointment in the diving with Daley/Waterfield finishing 4th..and some decent results in the tennis, weightlifting, archery and mens hockey..

Damn, that's heavy. I didn't think the chinese would have it in them to do that. 16 years old, long career ahead, and the chinese have enough gold medal contenders as it is.

Apparently unless I'm mistaken they are known for it.

Due to the fact that he's been on the news shows that it isn't just me who thinks this guy is just a complete tool. Tom Daley already upset by not getting a medal comes on twitter to find insensitive comments posted about his father who passed away earlier this year. Now the fool has been spamming messages for the past 3 hours, clearly he hasn't got a life. His twitter is rileyy_69

Well, i wouldn't know, i don't have much interest in other olympic teams, besides Australia and Poland. But i have heard about them experimenting with the stuff in the 80's though.... So i guess yeah, you're probably right.

It might be down to their long term resistance to independent random drug testing which just about every other country has done for years.

God Damn, seriously? The hell did these koreans come from?

I imagine it won't be long before anonymous or similar get hold of his address. He's a weedy little scrote, it would only take one guy to take him up on his 'threats' and the little gob****e would get his head stoved in. Heck, he's so tiny I imagine even I could lob him through a window. I've trodden on bigger bugs than this:

Tom Daley would crush him. Not only that but death threats are still illegal even if they're done online and he's posted a lot.

Man, Oscar Figueroa's OR lift was so inspirational. I'm so happy for that guy, especially after what happened to him in Beijing.

Terrible on-site commentary from these two brits though. "The guy from North Korea," "The Chinese guy," seriously? How unprofessional! I thought British people had manners enough to at least use a more appropriate word than "guy." Say lifter or athelete or competitor if you don't want to call them a gentleman. Jesus.

Do you know who they are? Some of our commentators are idiots. Yesterday I witnessed on 2 separate occasions commentators disagreeing with each other about basic rules regarding the event in hand. It just sounds amateurish given the scale of the games. :yuck:

Drama in the men's team gymnastics today but the outcome was totally fair because the scoring was done incorrectly for Japan.

Team GB doing quite terribly in the pool this time round, 4 years hasn't been to kind to them so far.

Half these commentators live in an insular bubble, they don't see foreigners often . I've been hearing the horror stories about the NBC commentators across the pond so I think its spreading!

The lifters or the commentators? I don't know the commentators because it's just the people talking to the crowd on site. I don't know if they're actually broadcasting, but you can hear them on the PA from the international online feed (that doesn't have its own commentary). It's a man and a woman though. You'd think they'd at least have note cards from which to read names, etc. I certainly don't know all of the lifters, so I wouldn't expect them to have their names memorized. But they can do better than "the guy from North Korea."
