Umm...Kosmic...

...no one should ever upgrade grandma's car(Civic) and hip girl's ride(Del Sol).

No car is worth upgrading. People should be happy with a car for what it was made for and how it was designed. If you aren't, buy a different car.

That comment's just ridiculous.the whole modifiying thing started in the 1920s, it's not gonna stop any time soon. :rolleyes: You've never even driven a car, how do you know a car isn't worth upgrading? Wait until you're old enough to drive *legally*, and tell me about it. You'll find your 60hp 323 is a bit on the slow side. What about Mazdaspeed? Nismo? Mugen? that's factory upgrading, are the factories stupid?

What you're saying makes no sense...
 
Punk, the 1.6L I4 Non-turbo 323 engine makes 82hp and about 92ft lbs.

Alright, so I was wrong about the MazdaSpeed stuff. I wasn't thinking that, I was thinking aftermarket junk.

I was at school...I don't always think clearly there cause school sucks so much.

A monster, HA HA HA, that thing is no where near a F:censored:CKING monster, it's a piece of SH:censored:T! Stupid neon! Build up the engine and then add a turbo or a supercharger and nitrous oxide. Then it might be a monster.

Are you slow. Or even stupied. I believe I already say that he jsut got a Huhn Racecraft Tubro Stage 2 for it. And yes it is a moster. Why cus the so called ****ing s*** neon is pushing 350 H.p.. But yes it is a p**** wiped car. Well think what you want. Cus you jsut got OWNED

You also said it isn't being installed until Spring, and it should produce 350hp.

Alright I am sorry for saying anything at all. I just don't find it right how you all jsut assume its a s***y car. Cus to be honst it is a great car. But everyone is intiled there opines. And yes I can't spell for crap. So please don't hold that agaisted me. Sorry once again.

Now that everybody is freinds again, has this Neon competed in any SCCA events, i.e. autocross. The only way to see if a car measures up is on the track, against the clock!
 
350 hp just makes a respectable engine (at least for me)... and that thing should smoke its poor tires real good without a limited slip. it is just too much for a neon to handle. And Im not saying that a neon is a bad car, I learned to drive in one and its very good. I just think that there are other upgrades that should be done to it.

Neons ARE NOT crap, they're just a little on the plain side. But, I've fixed them up & watched them at the drag strip....they CAN & DO go pretty quick!
