I don't think you can say it as simply as that, as there are many instances in which something matters more or less and it "balances out" automatically in your head (and some other parts) I guess. What I think is the general rule is that looks capture your attention at first but when you get to know the person then it either makes it or breaks it. I've never been in a long term relationship (as in years) so I don't know if one would go more towards looks or personality in the long term. My guess is personality and general character.

Both. Looks for attraction that would actually initiate me doing something, but if the personality isn't there, then no go for a relationship (see what I did there? ).

But yeah, if physical attraction is there, then it all comes down to the personality.
