I would mate but i already have loads of people i raced with since GT5 and we all use all aids off.
I promise you now, use no aids for a week and i guarantee you won't go back.

Yeah mate, I wasn't talking about those who don't use aids at all then using some, I was more looking at those of us who may do that trying to minim ise what aids we may use. I've tried ABS - 0 once......NEVER AGAIN!!!!:lol:

Sorry i should have been clearer, i use ABS on 1 but everything else off.

ABS off is hard to do on DS3 though you're right.

I've only got 1 psn friend, sent request to OP, my internet has been spotty lately 'til it gets fixed but could use a few more friends. I used SRF on GT5 for 2 years then learned to drive without it, much more satisfying. Add me, I might be quicker, might be slower, but I need more lines for seasonals although I usually get the gold and get out....more friends might cause me to try and beat others;)

Phil, as an inspiration because You were the closest to my time, I made a few changes & sorry to say, managed to beat Your time with 2:23:193.

Am sure You'll beat my time sooner or later. Inadvertently, You gave me inspiration to put in a faster lap. Hence, tried making changes here & there.

Am keen for some more "oldies" as friends. Am a DS3 guy who is in the over 60 year old category. Have some similar aged friends who are wheel users so happy for some DS3 users for comparisons. PSN ID bobby2227

Great but did you do it without SRF?

Yes did as promised yesterday.

After a few tries, added some more ballast which made a good difference.

It felt a little easy to push here because of the flowing nature of the track, but I may find it harder on other tracks.

Division 2 Silver in WRS with a DS3, add me if you want but i haven't tried the new 3 seasonals (ascari and the 2 others) but finished the s2000 seasonal on 137th and lancia around 200th place.

Will try the new seasonals soon, difficult to find some free time these days

ricky_kaka3 my psn

Feel free to add me,(PSN i.d. munsonface). I am also looking to see if there is a DS3 league out there? Central U.S. time on Thursday nights would be the preferred night. Thought I would ask here first since it looks like I found about the same racers as I am.

Mate i don't want to upset you but your time was set with SRF and TC on!
You can see if you click on your name in the rankings.

You should try manual gears too, its much better!

I thought had put the SRF off. No wonder was still able to better my time because n he contrary, I should've struggled.

I know with TC & manual gears, times can b faster but since I've not completely put in a dedicated time to convert to MT due to limited minutes of play time that I get.

I've been so much in TTs, that I've forgotten about my career races. Have to still complete some of the IB races yet.

Just a bit apprehensive in driving without any aids as am a DS3 user. I know other DS3 users go without the aids but I'm not that great enough to rival most of the GT fanatics.

I'm on DS3 too.
It's easier than you think.

DS3
No driver aids.
Driving skills of the Inoue.

I like to run the seasonal time trials in a stock car when I can. This Vee Dubya will be the death of me at Deep Forest Raceway - understeering blue pig.

PSN: ZeroG-52

DS3, all assists off, manual transmission.

Definitely looking for more friends to race against.

Mate, the best thing I ever did back in GT3 was make the call to try MT and then stick with it. I went with lower powered cars to simply get used to a different way of doing things and committed to sticking with it no matter what. There were times when I nearly tore my hair out, but stuck with it. One day it just clicked.

Stick with it man, you won't regret it. And then work on the other changes once you've got the hang of MT.

hey, u can add me, that goes for anyone! I have no gt6 playing friend! sad times! my Nick is dipdor, cheers guys :-D

As we are growing as a community, requesting all friends to even take the initiative of adding others instead of just waiting to be added.

This way the process will get more swift.

Just a Suggestion!

Feel free to add me guys. Would love some more people to compare my times to. And I am quite proud of my Veyron lap time in S license :D Would like to see how it fares with others, seeing how my current friends can't beat it. Other lap times too of course.

Request sent to most in this thread.... Feel free to add me if I missed someone... I use both controller and wheel... Aids on or off depending on car... Psn I'd holtzy08si

I'm interested in seeing how the fellas here go in the latest seasonals. I finally cracked the gold at Mt. Panorama by a second, and similarly at Daytona. Using the DS3, I think any better time than this is a remote likelihood. Used TCS 1, ABS 1 and SRF off. Thast first corner at Daytona is always a raffle for me and the key at Mt. Panorama is getting over the mountain without breathing on the concrete walls.

With the two Redbull events, some practice will get me a championship bronze for the standard (my best championship result is 4th so far), but Suzuka in the fan car is beyond my abilities using a DS3. I bronzed Monza, still yet to have a go at Spa. I'm not sure but I think on reeflection that I may have had controller setting sensitivity at 7, so may revisit using -2 setting. As much as I prefer usng MT, I have had to use Auto for these as the speed of the cars in conjunction with gear changes is beyond me.

DS3 - Sensitivity +7 - No aids (None - Not even a cup holder)
Gold-er-ized all swiftly. No real need for hard charging driving. a considered race line and the champagne is yours.
The Merc VGT Racer was just easy to drive as a you could want.
The American car less so...

The Red Bull - Only did the Standard championship - No Traction control and I felt I had a performance edge over the AI... The car is slightly light in slow stuff, and the big hairy fast corners the faster you go the more grip you get... Biggest issue was my slow in faster out lines earned me a few rear end impacts... So you can probably brake much later than you think... The car is light.

Not tried the Full Fat Newey Redbull X2014 yet.

Who has time for a drink over the mountain anyways.

I'll give the TCS - 0 a try with the Redbulls and see how that goes, I have found it takes a bit for the standard to get up and running from the real tight slow corners.
