Too many people are OCD when it comes to bugs, I know the game was choppy at times but it was completely playable and was able to enjoy the story perfectly.

Shame that once you finish the story there really isn't much longivity in the game after that.

Well, there's still the extra content they're bringing. Like... er... changing Lincoln's clothes and appearance... or being able to own a car and customize it... and enter "free races". And in addition, three expansion packs coming soon. The first three things are "post-release content". Not sure why they couldn't just have them in the final game. Maybe they rushed releasing the game? Nah, that would be too sensible.

This game is getting quite spooky, with floating angle grinders and vampires :scared:

Really liking this so far although doesn't look like there's a lot to do once you finish the story.

Car customisation looks amazing though

Simulation driving is also a lot of fun to use as you get loads of wheel spin and can drift pretty easily in any of the muscle cars.

Looks good, but by now most will have finished the story already so what's the point..
I just took it off my hard drive until it will be actually complete and fixed (hopefully) somewhere mid 2017, and then i can finally enjoy the game like it was meant to be played.

I outright quit the game as soon as I finished. Like you said, nothing to do after you're done with the story. Maybe collecting the collectibles but not much else

Gotten a bit further into the game (captured the first 6 districts) now and one thing I must say is how spot on the car sounds are. I've been using the De'Leo Traviata (Ferrari Dino) and it sounds incredible, just as a V8 Ferrari should and even stuff like tyre screeches and switching off the engine sounds 100% authentic. One bad thing I've noticed though is that, on PS4 at least, the cutscenes get completely muted any time you try to record them using the share button which I really don't get. Gameplay and in-game cutscenes are fine but the pre-rendered ones have no sound at all. First time I've seen a game mute recordings to this level. Licenced music also gets muted but there are a few other games I can think of that do that as well.

I finished the game a few days ago and enjoyed it. I think I preferred it slightly over Mafia 2. The storytelling and soundtrack were great. It was just letdown by some of the repetitive mission structure and a few bugs that ruined the atmosphere a bit. Some of these bugs seem like they should have been resolved by now.

I'm planning on not using the silly x-ray vision or the whistle trick when I eventually return to it. That will go a long way in making it more of a challenge already.

I have a question about rackets.
If you reach the damage requirement to trigger the racket boss mission, is there any benefit to finishing the other objectives before continuing? As far as I can tell it doesn't affect the racket income but you do find a decent amount of cash in the mission areas.
