Well... Something must still be in work, as I am not able to start my GT5 at the moment.
I am logged into the PSN, but is hanging on the GT-logo on start of the game (never had issues with that before).
Had issues around 10am GMT today aswell, connecting to GT5-servers, but they cleared out after 45 minutes...

Edit:
Was able to start, after 15 minutes of retrying..? :phew:

I am confused on what type of maintenance they did to GT5. Usually when that maintenance notification appears, it means they fixed a bug or glitch, but I don't see a patch or anything showing any signs of the game's improvement. I just want to know what they fixed or made worse by accident. It could be the hybrid civics for all I know.

EDIT: Or it could be to check to see if things are still working correctly, which GT5 has never been working correctly from the beginning if were honest.

So the maintenance was utter uselessness and Polyphony has nothing to show for it.

To you, maybe. To the GT servers, I doubt it. Bet they're all nice and tidy now. Couple of 3 hour de fragging sessions all done.

You never know what foundations PD may (or may not) have laid for the future.

Maybe they are planning something else for their servers to support running on the 20th, like either a game on Vita or PS4 or maybe on both...

I keep waiting for Jordan or Famine to post some news on the matter. It's so frustrating knowing nothing about it. :p

I have noticed a couple of server problems. Like the host lagging out and instead of it transferring the host to the person below it skips the person and goes somewhere else.

Also a few lag issues with random people I have never before seen lag they were lagging. But that is it. Maybe it was just the rooms the way they were setup but who knows

Yes! It's here. The all new Dacia Showroom.

This post is a Jokey joke joke.

Just don't quote me...

Maybe they're replacing the old hamster-powered servers with new ones. One can only hope.

New Maintenance Notice!

Start 18/02 22:00 EST
Finish 19/02 00:00 EST

This is more like it. Maintenance that ends around midnight EST is usually followed by an update.

Funny how it also ends the day before Sony's "big conference" on the 20th. :sly:
