What a silly idea do you think there are really gonna going to notice if 50 or 60 people on here dont play for a week. Im not against this patch i like to earn my cars. But i would like to see an end to grinding too. There was too many noobs at like lv12 crashing into everyone in a cranberry X1 they had got duped by someone or complaining that the game is no challenge cause they are using lmp cars for low A-spec events.

Logically, that point is also invalid because it doesn't help your argument at all. In some cases, when it actually makes a difference, boycotting will actually affect decisions. However, by boycotting GT5, you will not. PD will not care, we will not care, and life will just go on.

tl;dr: Complaining in the form of boycotting will not work for GT5.

Please try to maintain some level of maturity, and (if your intelligence isn't already stretched beyond capacity) use proper grammar and spelling.

Let's say that half of gtplanet supports this and then another half of people who don't have accounts see this. Your looking at only 100,000 people not playing a game that has shipped 6.3 million. It's not going to work.

Seriously though, when was the last time a boycott of any game worked? I've been on many site and in many threads about boycotting a game in hopes of getting your way. I ask this same question every time and no one, no one has ever answered me.

You can let PD know what you think about the restriction, but dropping the number of players online for a week by 15 or so isn't gonna make anyone see the light.

That didn't kill duping. The only thing that will kill duping is removing the ability to back up saves. Once that is removed, then duping will be gone as well (and they won't do that).

I hate the restrictions as much as the next person but I've played this game every day since 1/20/2011 and some trade rules won't stop me from racing. I was going to trade for the Jaguar race car ( the purple one ) so instead of that I raced the FGT series and the DCC series once and got enough cash to buy the car myself.

That didn't kill duping. The only thing that will kill duping is removing the ability to back up saves. Once that is removed, then duping will be gone as well (and they won't do that).

NFS/EA did with shift, that's is copyright protected so you cant even save it, there is nothing stopping PD from doing the same

But to be honest I can see what the big deal is? did you buy this game to play it or copy parts of it?

I know I and a lot of people like me brought it for the purpose it was intended for , I did not buy it to become a virtual car trader of virtual cars, Its a driving game not a virtual car trade game.

If people don't like it you have two options :

1/ Stop playing the game as it obviously does not cater for people like you, being a driving game and not a virtual car trade game

2/ put up and shut up.

Krazy, if you look at the recent video game boycotts, you'll realize that they didn't do anything to the developers or publishers.

You know what's more effective than a boycott? Emailing them your opinions on the game. Alone, it may be useless, but collectively, it'll be noticed. Though it's up to PD if they want to take any action.

And what do you mean by "until they cancel the patch". If you want to enjoy it again it HAS to be patched; you can't remove, add, or change features by leaving it alone.
