BlazinXtremethey are econo cars that are meant to get you from A to B while getting good mileage.
Kia MotorsOh, and get used to being center of attention. It's standard feature.
jpmontoyaIf you really want attention, what you need is the "tuner" edition, the almighty Rio RS...

Agreed. I have no idea why people buy horrible cars new, because they are cheap, when the used car market has much better alternatives at the same price. Case in point, crappy new GM minivans (I can't be bothered to list them all off) vs. a used Odyssey or Sienna.M5PowerIt doesn't even get that good mileage compared to class competitors...
BUY USED, IDIOTS
I have no sympathy for people who have Rios then complain about how much life sucks in the inner city.
SlicksI hope some American sues them for false advertising (No offense to you sensible Americans, but some people will sue over anything).
Why, oh why would you ever buy a Kia?
I feel the same way, but you could say Lexus copies Mercedes too.VIPFREAKRX300 poser moble.![]()
VIPFREAKdamn chineseQUOTE]
You ****ing watch it.
VIPFREAKI think not! the RX came out wayyyyyyyyy before the merc, or at least it was still a concept. I was so shocked Lexus actually made that car because it was such a kick ass design and then they pulled a Dodge (when they were good) and put it into production with little changes! My mom's got one but she 🤬 it up with gold crap all over.
damn chinese
Well at least it's in "pristine" condition 30,000miles later.
it's a 2000.
I'd agree on Hyundais, but Kia doens't look very desirable to me. Like I said on my fist post, I don't dislike the Rio as much as the other members here. I agree, it's not 1986 anymore, but I don't think I'll be shopping at Kia Dealer anytime soon.M5PowerThe people who laugh at the ad are correct; it's absurd.
By the same token:
The people in this thread who have posed the question 'Why buy a Kia?' or have doubted Kia or the Republic of Korea are completely ignorant.
I've never owned a Korean car, I'm not Korean, and I've never even been to Korea, but it takes an absolute fool to doubt Hyundai and Kia. Of course, it also takes an absolute fool to make brand allegiances, but we can look past that in this thread.
No, the Rio isn't a great car. But Kia as a brand does make good cars, and Hyundai makes even more. Wake up people, it's not 1986 anymore.
