Your PS3 won't get damaged through changing numbers in a GT5 save file.

And Yauma - neither of the N24 cars will work.

I'm not going to bother editing the save file. I almost broke my GT4 game when I was trying to get a cheat code :(

Make a folder on your PC, name it "GT5 Save Game Backup" copy your save game into that folder and keep it safe. If ever you mess up your save game, its is there safe and sound. Periodically you can make a second folder for your hacked save game back up that you can periodically update so if you do take a loss, its not far back.

You should backup important save games if you hybrid or not. I recently had a power outage while the game was saving and corrupted my file system. So bad I had to reformat the system completely.

Editing the save game chances are you will mess up the file at least once. However no need to worry, back it up, update the back up and its never a big deal if you do mess it up.

Have a quick question.

On the 1969 Camaro Z28. Has anyone successfully painted it but kept the stripes black or gone period? Normally the stripes turn white after you paint the car. I would like them to be gone or black if possible

Any cars that are more powerful than the vanilla cars will be reset. So nobody will be banned. But do not use GT5 hidden menu onlne as you will be permaban apparently.

And You can only use hacked cars that have the secret parts and or special paints and unpaintable painted cars/stock rims.

The lower stripe of the Mitsubishi STARION 4WD Rally Car '84 is paintable, the rest of the car stays the same.

The Escort and Esperante are unpaintable, i'll comb over some stuff tomorrow afternoon.

Corvette C7 Final is NOT paintable :( I made one with a LS9 I wanted to paint blue like the ZR-1, ohh well..

It is....if you want a Cyber Grey Metallic C7 with red interior and black wheels.
The red C7 will only change to the grey color, but the grey C7 will not change at all.

Personally even tough I was for modding. The patch made things better as it was simply too chaotic online where every room and a stupid-fast car.

But I approve of the realistically modded cars.👍

I heard online was just a mess, at least before the goofs stayed in the RedBull to infinity and beyond rooms, now they all over the place :crazy:
 
Standard 1969 Z28 Camaro is paintable. Also it removes the stripes completely

Opera Performance S2000 is not paintable.
Too bad. The only thing I dont' love about the car is the color.

OTOH, I'm really glad I can paint the Nismo cars. The Z-tune looks so much better in metallic blue.
