Tried the demo last night. A whole lot of fun, but there's definitely a learning curve after coming from a long MGS background. Need to get the timing of parrying down!

Exactly what I thought when I played it last night. Graphics were stunning especially after playing the poor graphics on the Crysis 3 demo. This game looked miles ahead of Crysis 3 graphically on the 360. Crysis 3 actually went backward graphically from Crysis 2. Oh well I plan to at least rent MGR when it comes out. At one point I was up to 480 hits on an object. haha

What does Crysis have to do with MGR?

Yeah, but every character in this series swears off fighting after every installment

I like the Olga nod with Sunny's pants 👍

I need to go and pre-order this last-minute. Need that Gray Fox outfit, bad.

Someone dun altered the time-space continuum in MGR, as Sunny supposed to be only 10 years old following the MGS2 mentioning of her. Yes, MGR takes place 10 years after MGS2 if it is considered canon within the timeline. Even the MGS4 Database PS3 app lists Sunny as being born in 2008, a year after the tanker accident and right before Big Shell. Or maybe it is Japan just being Japan and playing mind games with us

It's a stubborn one, isn't it? I hate that it insists on auto-correcting itself after a second of not touching the right analog stick. So many times, I'm hiding in a box/barrel watching an enemy move by, and the damn thing changes right when I get up to move. It bothers me that the camera's movements aren't predictable; if they were, no matter how illogical, I could at least plan around it. What was wrong with MGS4's setup?

Beaten it three times now, collecting the other things, trying to get good scores. The Fox blade definitely should be saved for after you've beaten the game, since it utterly decimates non-UG enemies. Pairing that with the pole-arm makes for some crazy-looking on-screen demolitions.

So, I beat the game last night. Incredible ride. Kojima is enthusiastic with the good reviews, and sales. Future colabs are likely, he says.

DLC is coming in April. we will be able to play as Bladewolf and Jetstream Sam, in them.

Final Battle was BOSS.

It was short. But it was a fulfilling one. But that is all subjective. There's alot of games that just drag. While I would have loved some more length on this one, I'm not disappointed in it's length.

Also the DLC should help with that, aswell.
