It's a new METAL GEAR AC!D game.. see the ! in AC!D?

i stand stand for DS i or iPhone... they are making an AC!D game... Tthey wont start a new Metal Gear Solid game that FAST... its only since summer that 4th major game came out.. they are still paling lots of online stuff..

So yeh either fro DSi or iPhone they are working on.

If I were to lay a bet down though, I'd be betting it was in fact a hint that a MG game is going to be released for the 360.

Honestly, you should really play MGS4.

After watching an entire joke, by a character in the game (he likes to break down the fourth wall), saying how this is great because it is on Blu-Ray, and even a usage warning during loading that it is a PlayStation 3 exclusive you would question this too.

Also, after you see how Kojima loves to mislead you wouldn't trust anything that looks like it should be obvious in regards to Metal Gear.

During the development of MGS4, Kojima was seen with a lot of MS people, who he later admitted to having lengthy meetings and meals with, for the purpose of discussing the creation of either a MGS game (MGS4 or an exclusive new MGS game) or an all new exclusive video game.

I think what we may all be forgetting is that that is Konami's site and may or may not have anything to do with Kojima. And as it just said Metal Gear it could easily be a remake of Metal Gear, or more story outside of Solid's storyline.

Or it could just be another gorram crazy clue that means what none of us think it means.

Either way, what Kojima has been doing since MGS4 is very non-MGS related and so I wonder if Konami isn't making this without him. And we all know how well that turns out.

I'm not sure who was worried, or what case got proven, but are you saying there is no chance that it could be a Metal Gear AC!D game for the 360?

Yeah, it think it's a new AC!D game, but you just gotta love how Kojima and Konami have 'announced' it to the masses. (Taking advantage of the XBox 360 debate)

Wow, if they made an AC!D game for the 360 I would laugh non-stop as I played my non-turn based, non-card battle game. Those games were laughably bad in comparison to all the others.
 
Not to mention, the only similarity with the symbol and the 360 is it's in green, it's simply a power sign (probably one on your computer power switch!) with a !, so AC!D is my guess to.

Hey all

1st off all MGS4 rocks, just finished the game today on Solid Snake difficulty and started again right after the ending on the Extreme Boss...and i've to say it really worth paying any thing for this game, i've been playing MGS since Metal Gear Solid on PSone, missed the 2nd:indiff: then went with Snake Eater and after it was the PSP version Portable OPS...this series really rocks. A big thanks and thumbs up for Kojima and his team...

Also i wanted to add something regarding that cut scene when HAL. makes the joke about changing the disc then it's a BD....there was a hustle about making the game for 360 but actually i don't think Kojima added that part in the game for the 360:odd:...all who played the PSone MGS knows that at the same point in the game HAL. calls and asks you to swap the discs as the game was on two discs:crazy:....any way that's my own opinion....

Don't leave yet! At least let us tell you where this information comes from. According to 1UP and 1 of its tipsters, the latest issue of Japanese mag Famitsu shows what lies beyond the cryptic ellipsis appended to Kojima Productions' teaser website, which we last discussed on December 5th. Judging by a somewhat scrutable scan, the game appears to be an iPhone project dubbed "Metal Gear Solid Touch." [Update: Konami has confirmed the title.]

Little else is known about the touch-screen title, but we imagine many a soldier's neck will be snapped via some precision pinching.

Let this be a lesson that power symbols are not exclusive to the 360. Power symbols are a combined 1 and 0, which is on and off in binary. Many electronics use them, including the PS3 and Wii.


Now, let's all discuss how this is happening but my PSP isn't getting it.

I have an iPhone, so I will probably buy this, but TBH I hope this isn't taking time\money\effort away from the next proper Metal Gear game.

I'm not sure, it would be a little bit of a kick in the knackers if they did for all those fans who bought the 'normal' version. They seem to be adding expansions to MGO alot though, so maybe thats where that sort of work has been going.
 
Well I'm just going for the final weapon to complete my inventory, the Solar Gun which I've just never bothered to fetch before. Wish me luck :)

Any thoughts that might help?? i spent 3 hrs for 4 days trying to finish him up, i reached Ocelot 2 times only :guilty:...

It's worth it, so good luck! It's a surprise to me I like it so much, since it's not a real weapon. But, it's very useful and fun, so don't take it too seriously; you'll enjoy it more if you don't.

Personally, I think it's the best 'weapon' you can have in your inventory, if you plan to go for the "Big Boss" run. It's non-fatal and you can shoot knocked out, or dead, enemies to release twice as many items from them. 👍

I already did the Big Boss Emblem so it won't be any use for me there, the only item I have yet to collect that (not including emblems and music tracks) is the Solar Gun.
I've dispatched Octopus so far with some nifty V-Ring work with a couple of Mosin rounds when she was stationary in hiding, I quickly established that she would go down as soon as she pulled her weapon out, but would block if she didn't have her P90 at hand. I'd never hung around and chased long enough in my previous 6 or 7 times when defeating her to realise this.

Not sure how neccessary the spoiler tag is but I wouldn't want any clues if it was me playing through.

Finally gave the Solar Gun a try, it's a very strange weapon, what with the strange description an all. I'm going to do some sleuthing to try to find out the deal behind all that. Nice how it gives you some extra items to, but it does get you seen pretty easily it would seem.

"SUNLIGHT!" Kind of hard to stay hidden when Snake stands out and screams that out, huh?

Yeah, it's silly, like I said, but fun. The story behind the gun is it's from another popular video game character who uses the pistol, powered by photons from our Sun. To be honest, I didn't pay good attention to the story. Either an Anime show or a video game popular in Japan.
