Dunc have you updated the server to 1.8.1? Apparently there's an issue which causes a stack overflow and crashes the server (generating a huge error code), and might explain why the server has been crashing all night.
 
I did some inspecting, and as it seems, according to Big Brother, Jai really did start the fire. It's not my mistake. . . That big brother lagged to much when I was inspecting the first time.

Hey I have a question about running a small server. I'm currently running a server on 1.8.1. Only my wife and I play on it. Sometimes her brother would play with us but only to just mess around and place TNT under my house.

It is a vanilla server with no plugins.
I'm thinking of running Craftbukkit with Myworlds and Nanobots plugins. I also need a plugin to disable TNT and remove lava... What would be your suggestion?

Yep, I'm updating bukkit as soon as they get released. There was a user online so I'm not getting the huge crash anymore. I've restarted anyway.

Exactly that. There are tons of plugins here. Have a look and see what you think will be useful.

See all those random bits? Those kill the server. I'm taking the server offline to get rid of them. Hopefully there should be a slight performance increase afterwards. Please try not to generate any new world that you don't have to. I'm all for exploring but try not to put the server under too much load.

Also in regards to the lag. Obviously the more people there are on the server, the more lag there will be. But it will be much worse if you are all spread out in different chunks.

I love how Spongey can't let go at the fact that I accidentally burned a stick and was putting it out, time to find something better to do Sponge..
 
Is that glowy orange thing on the map the spawn tower? In fact, do commands like /spawn work now or do we have to wait?

I doubt it was an accident as when I got there you were not paying any attention to the flames, like you didnt want to be found out.

C'mon, it wasn't much even if it was deliberate. Anyway, this damn door glitch is getting on my nerves. Hoping for some more bug fixes soon.
 
There is a new bukkit but Vics sister is staying with us and they're watching music videos at the moment so can't get on. :( I'll kick them off shortly!
