:D When I thought up Venturi, I was thinking about one of my favourite cars that was featured in GT2.

I lost them underground, and when I found them the lag had me lose connection and when I went back on I had died. :confused:

World Portals, epic.

Yeah, you can jump on the server anytime, but you won't be able to build until you're whitelisted. Post your minecraft username here and I can try and add you but I'm at work. I'll be home in an hour so can do it then. In the mean time hop on and look around and I'll see you there a bit later!

How kind of you, I'm after luxurious colours, like brown, black, white. I'll also take down the white blocks in Thorncombe :)
 
I logged in, got attacked by some skeletons and it lagged so much that I only took damage after I ran into someone's field full of crops, but the door glitched so it let a load of mobs in. :( Sorry! I logged back off quickly for fear of dying. :(
 
it is lagging quite a bit and there are still a lot of bugs/gitches in the game. I logged off since the chuncks are being stupid by respawning..
 
When I go back to the server, I'll probably make a library and live in it. Presumably someone detonated my villa or ransacked it or something.
 
I like the intention of minimal spawning in the new world. Those attempts to recover the actual point of this game are ruptured by those who like to blast through the air all day.. Now, when I discuss this, people tend to get all hurt inside about it, however, every time someone using MyCraft approaches my computer actual freezes.. And I sometimes have to shut it down.

It is also a bit of an unfair advantage over those who spend those valued extra hours building things and climbing to finish them, not to mention the razed ability to dart along at speed, also a disadvantage to those who spend hours trekking across land. Past servers I have been to have banned this feature for the exact same statements made above..
 
Maybe we should ban mycraft. At least for the new world.

And Jai, people using mycraft can't bemoaned for your computer crashing.
 
I like the idea of going all natural as well, mainly because I don't know how to fly etc etc cause I've only played single player til today :) haha
 
We need a vote. Dunc, what do you think about going classic. I suppose, as the new world grows, we should start to bring in shops, and an economy, to make it more realistic.
 
For this temp world I will use mycraft. For the 1.9 world I'd like to use those special golden tools though, even if we don't use mycraft. I won't have the time this year to spend as much time playing this. The golden tools take a lot of time away from digging.
 
Yeah, you're lucky getting those tools and everything. How do I become VIP?

And, will we actually be required to have a new world when 1.9 arrives?

Those tools are nice but I wish they would last a bit longer but eh I guess repairing them works too.
 
If you want more variations in biomes without having to trek for 3 days to get new ones, yes :p

I haven't been able to get on yet either, getting "Connection Refused", is something wrong with it? Reboots don't normally take this long.

As for Flying, I don't mind it, but I think it'd be more fun for the time being (atleast on this temporary world), if we didn't use it and instead experienced the update as it was meant to be, no spawning items, flying around or being invincible (exploding creepers would be nice too :p).

I'm going to be playing naturally and would appreciate it if anyone who is living in the NPC town to try the same :)
