I got it working.
At the moment you get paid 50 Tories for every 2 hours you are online. This is all changeable.

We'll have a little trial period of buying and selling with the standard plugin and then I'll start adding some of those addons.

You can type /econ to see how much you have. Type /econ help for more commands.

BTW, the starting amount is fifty 'tories'. It is pretty awesome.

We can change the name of the currency if everyone would prefer something different.
 
I completely agree. Also, add two more zeroes on the end of the costs, and add two zeroes on the end of the payment, make it seem more like GT.
 
Yeah credits is good and make it show up as "Cr.". This is of course a Gran Turismo forum, of which supports the server.
 
The towers are now connected with each other via an underground tunnel.
So when everything is done you should be able to travel safely from 1 tower to another at night.

If I have time tomorrow I'm going to finish the towers and do some more landscaping so that more layers can be turned to stone.
 
The monkey is for sale if anyone would like it, it has an extensive mine, unique look and other cool features :) Also if anyone needs a place to stay you're welcome in my new house, all front rooms are available except for those on the bottom floor.
 
Suggestion: Don't have a plugin mod, so you don't bugger yourself Dunc. Seriously man, It's best if we just trade ourselves without help. 👍

EDIT: Reading though the comments, I realized that it's already been installed (I think). :( *sigh* Oh well, time to start yelling at the screen when I don't get paid what I should. Unfortuantly, you can't kill trater AI, unlike real players.

Be aware that I can only select square areas when converting to stone so the circle in the center might be a bit tricky!

There is no AI. The other players still pay you. We just now have a currency instead of having to use a world object.
 
It won't be a problem DQuaN. If I'm done you should be able to convert the area of the initial dirt block.
 
Rykon it's fine if you claim a room, you might need me to remove a sign for you though, i'm not sure if you can't take it down yourself.

Also, if anyone has any glowstone i'd be happy to trade for something since i require a substantial amount for what i want to do with my house.
 
Is there any decent way of stopping mobs from getting near you while building? I'm trying to build a hilltop house near my cliffside tower and since a mod isn't online it turns to night very quickly and I constantly get attacked :( It's hampering progress!

If your the only one online, you can sleep in a bed which changes the time to dawn instantly. just keep the bed well lit
 
If there's a hole in your house that leads directly to a patch of darkness, it is a certainty a mob will spawn there. How to fix this: Make a tent out of dirt or wool.
 
Will be getting the premium version in about a week. CAN'T WAIT. ( Though i don't know if its good or bad as i can see ALLOT of time being consumed by this)

I know, what I mean is that I'm currently building a house and so some areas are still open to the outside world. I've changed projects for a minute though, so it doesn't matter so much. Thanks for the cactus BTW!
 
Okay, so I've been doing a bit of tweaking to my personal Painterly pack, processing it patiently with precise purpose. The result? This. Go ahead and try it, I've got a customized diamond sword and axe, a night vision overlay when you put on a pumpkin, and a painting of my personal symbol, currently on display on the top floor of my house, in the bedrooms.
 
Initial thoughts is that it's too dark for my liking Rykon but otherwise pretty good if you're into the whole 'dark' theme.

I'd also like to know who decided to dig through my floor into my farm/vault and I'd like those pieces of wool back please since they are part of my house and all.

And WHY is all the netherack to the nether portal on fire? what's someone being doing?

Hmm, never thought it looked dark. I know I definitely prefer dark wood, but everything else was pretty much random. That's some interesting insight.

Oh my. I'm not sure, but that could have been me. I could have sworn I left it exactly as I found it, but I'll go ahead and give you some wool, even if I did do it.

Ahhhh... Good ol' Minecraft. I have been busy working on two worlds over two separate computers. I will make video's of them both soon to show you guys! (Very nerdy I must warn you all!)
 
So I'm going to get Minecraft along with a friend this Monday to mark the end of our exams. Are there any tips as to how to set it up. Is it worth hosting my own server for us to connect to? Or do you normally connect to a pre-made one?

I really have no idea, and I'd rather learn from your mistakes rather than mine if you don't mind :)
 
DQuan hosts a server for us all here, somewhere hidden in the thread is the address for you to connect to, DQuan will have to mark you as a player otherwise you'll only be a guest when you connect first time round. It's a good active server and will be much better for you to join than create one for yourself :)
