Ryou
His server code is stated around page 12.

Oh sorry didn't see it. I'm on my phone app and pages are way smaller so I went to like page 10 on here and didn't see it....this thread is 94 pages long on here.

Very fun so far though. Got a small house in the side of a mountain and started my first mine. Other than the graphics you'd never know this was basically done by one guy.

I think it's the graphics that make it so fun! I mean, it really takes you back.. Not that I know, but to before the PS console.

And at DQUaN, I keep getting an error in my console saying that it's unable to bind a port, which I then have to restart my computer to fix, which means that whenever I need to edit the server I need to restart. Very annoying >_>. I may just stick with the basics, since the 6 active players I have are having fun. :D

Info added to first post, please send me a list of the "player-useable" commands and I'll add that in somewhere too.

Yeah the graphics if looked at alone would be considered atrocious but the art style really works with it. I'm amazed this it's only beta still and I read on the site that the next update is a substantial one which is great.

I also love that it is browser based. Play on any computer with an internet connection. It can be as simple as you want to make it our as complex as you want and I think that probably adds to it a lot.

One question about the server. Do you need any special things downloaded to join it or do I just type that in and away I go?

Just type it in.

The separate downloadable client offers better performance than the browser one so I recommend downloading it and running it. That way you can use mods and what not such as different texture packs to improve the look. See painterly for a great easy to use texture pack.

Thanks and yeah I tried the downloaded one but I click on the download and it don't work for me?

The download page has versions for Windows, Mac, and Linux. You just scroll down to the OS you use and click the link. Nothing more than that really.

Haha oh I'm not that stupid

I agree. Downloading it as a client gives you the ability to play it OFFLINE. It still asks you to log-in but when it notices there's no connection, it allows you to play offline. (If you have already played it on that computer before)

Modding and texture packs are easy, but they should be easier.

So we must post our username for the, "Whitelist", for the server now? Okay then, my username is Ryou_Takishida. Simple

When I try to use the download file I get an error saying:

"The registry refers to a nonexistent Java Runtime Enviornment installation or the runtime is corrupted.

The system cannot find the path specified."

Ok people, we've got a problem. I need a copy of the level.dat for the world as it stands now. As dunc re-set the /sethome my home in woop woop isn't set. And I have no idea where it is. That or if someone has it on a map or something or knows where it is, please contact me asap. :)

^^ I don't even know what direction it's in, plus I seem to die a lot. I'm not an expert fighter. I mine...that's my job :P

That's gonna take a while!!

I think the best thing to do is load up a backup when no one is on, you can connect on and then find your home and note down the coordinates.

Actually I should know the direction of where his "woop woop" house is. If Tlowr4 is on I can help him with that.

Just saw you online breifly. :)

Yeah. It's 4 am though and only up cause I've got the flu... Thought I'd jump on quick and see the server. Very impressive looking place. Thanks for hosting it.

Well, my computer right now is actually really weak, so any attempt at playing Minecraft results in ludicrous lag.

I was on for a bit, had a long weekend so I've been taking it easy today, might be on tonight though.

Actually, because I'm fairly certain we'll need to start up a new map when 1.8 rolls around, I'm neglecting to do anything with our current map. I'll probably go ahead and put my secret passage back tot the way it was.

That said, I'm also going to write down my inventory of stuff, so if we do start a new map, I won't really lose anything.
