Minecraft freezes for me about 50% of the times I press F to increase my view distance so that would probably fail miserably!
Also realised tonight that I need more RAM.
Looks like you didn't let the game finish reticulating splines before loading the map.Well I found two huge Block Chunk Errors(or I like to call voids):
Alright guys. I'm building a huge hall that reminds me of those dwarven halls. It's a 10x16x40. I've made a bunch of shovels and picks and storage areas for those who are feeling generous and want to donate people materials. I've put some materials of my own in there because I really won't have a use for this much cobblestone for a long time.
It's at -417, 63, 379, go down the mining shaft, follow the natural cave until you reach a huge room.
I'm planning on putting 3x3 sandstone pillars in there and I may end up making dormitories followed by everything one would need to live in there.
Feel free to take what you like, I just ask that if you dig into the walls past the 10x16x40, that you reseal it with smooth stone, I've placed 4 furnaces and as of this post you can clearly see coal on the ceiling.
Also I want to name it after some dwarven city, Wallrunner suggested Mordor, but that's Sauron's abode and this place isn't evil. So suggestions would be nice.
Oh I forgot. I have a fairly large amount of Cobblestone down there so feel free to take some. People may donate more so take what you like/is there.
You know, you could have just used my 8 furnaces.Alright guys. I'm building a huge hall that reminds me of those dwarven halls. It's a 10x16x40. He uses my account.I haven't seen you online Bay.
It'll do that. Go ahead and join the server, we're got plenty of space and a nice set of buildings. My house is on top of a hill, and makes a great landmark, though Wallrunner's ship is more noticeable. Also, it's full of mushrooms.
If it's not too much work, having Craftbook would be really nice
Also, finding a mode that give you basic commands like /playerlist or /who so I can see if anyone is online would be tremendous![]()
Any way to preregister those of us who consistently go on the server?
Craftbook looks pretty complex. I'll look into it and definitely consider it in the future but I've banged my head against enough walls recently while trying to get this server to work! /Who is definintely one I'll put on. Currently the welcome message will tell you who's online.
I'll add you all in now.
Switchover will be happening very soo.![]()
Sweet, thanks! Good luck with the switch over, sounds like a really complicated thing to deal with.
Here's a few things I wanted to discuss: I thought it would be a good idea to turn off peaceful, because that would add a few game mechanics that are currently missing, like food, and would make my Soup Kitchen an actual feature that people could use.
Can I be added when the switch happens please? Since it appears to be happening right now, just as I logged on![]()
