That's because I forgot to copy the Nether World! I'll fix that as soon as I have access to the server.

Damn, I didn't transfer my stuff! Oh well...

And by the way, maybe we should make some community projects. Things like building tunnels between each others houses, and maybe allocating land?

Tried to play the free version and couldn't. The FPS were around 1 per 2.4 seconds. Ridiculous.

I have an NVidia GT525M and a i7 2630QM that scores a 6,840 PassMark CPU score. This shouldn't be happening.

DQuan, can you add me to your server? I'd appreciate it if you could. I would probably try to get on it as much as I can, but I won't be able to much, so don't laugh if I end up with a 4x4x4 house made of Wooden Planks!

Also, (another nooby question) does singleplayer data transfer onto multiplayer?

Thanks

Looks like the server is down again :guilty:, Timing out when I try to connect.

Well, like I said, I'd really enjoy locked chests myself. And maybe a mod that turns pumpkins into scuba masks.

I'm currently working on the Point Zero Lake, a man made lake, complete with the Point Zero Hydroelectric Dam. There's no point to it other than yet another thing in this world with my name on it. Also visit the soup kitchen for soup. Because you're worth it. *ding*

Oh, and when tlowr4 decided to visit my WIP lake:

This is the best server ever.

This is weird, there isn't a nether-world folder in the old server. I guess we'll just have to work on the new one.

That is strange. I assume you have a half decent internet connection. I seen to remember you have a lot of trouble with Flash/Java. Is this the browser version or did you download it.

Not that I'm aware of.

Going on the Server in bit. I am not a visitor. (MCJason002)

Added :)

Some basic commands for users.

Guests:
/spawn - Teleports you back to the spawn point.
/Who - Tells you who is online.

Players - Same as guests plus:
/sethome - Sets your home.
/home - Teleports you home.

Mods will have extra powers of course. I haven't decided if you should have rocket boots yet though. They're just for me at the moment! :p

Hmm... having a problem with the new server. I'm connecting to dqcraft.dyndns.org:22223. Is the new server now on 22222 or is it me?

EDIT: Fixed...

New command as of the next restart. /Suicide

Kill yourself by summoning a bolt of lightning to strike you!

Another new plugin: Lockette

The purpose of this plugin is to restrict access to the contents of chests, dispensers, furnaces, and doors without the use of a database to track containers.

To use, simply place a signpost on the floor directly beside a chest or other container to be locked. Enter [Private] as the first line. Your own name will automatically be entered on line 2 as the chest owner. Optionally type in the full names of two other users allowed to access the chest's inventory on lines 3 and 4.

When done correctly, the sign will automatically fix itself to the side the target chest, protecting it from unauthorized access! Only the chest's owner can then break the sign or chest. (Warning: Anyone with permission to use WorldEdit commands or similar can circumvent the protection by removing the sign.)

LocketteDoory.jpg

To protect a door, you can use the same method as protecting a container, the sign will attach to the door automatically. In addition, you can attach a [Private] wall sign to any side of the blocks just above or just below a door. For double doors only one side needs a sign. Door support is enabled by default in the config file.

Once a door is protected it will only open for someone listed as a user, and will not respond to redstone power or switches unless [Everyone] is listed as a user. Iron doors which usually won't open from clicking will work just as wooden doors. In addition, double doors will open together automatically!

You can also use [More Users] signs as with containers, with the caveat that the sign cannot be placed on the block above the door if the [Private] sign is not above the door as well! (This is done to prevent a security uncertainty issue.)

Protected doors will be closed automatically if a timer is set. A timer can be set globally with a configuration option, or individually for each door by using the tag [Timer: #] on line 3 or 4 of the [Private] sign, where # is the number of seconds that the door should remain open. If the timer is set to 0, this means the door will never automatically close. If no timer is specified, protected doors will use a global timer set in the configuration file. If the server is shut down cleanly any open doors will be closed, but in the event of a server crash while a door is open, it may remain so. Note that the initial state of a door is assumed to be closed.

Care must me taken to place protected doors on a stable block. Building a door on sand, gravel, leaves, TNT and et cetera are allowed by the plugin, but cannot be secured fully. :3 Additionally, it should be noted that most status messages still refer to locked blocks as containers, so for the purpose of simplicity, doors should be considered as a type of container.

*edit2*

/suicide isn't working for some reason...

Sweet, that is exactly what I wanted. Now I can make my front door open to only me, and my back door open to everyone else.

Ooer...

*edit*

Just to add, I have set the timer for protected doors to 60 seconds. They will automatically shut after this time if left open. If you would like me to change the time or have them not shut automatically at all, let me know.

I would like to make a note about my little hall. The tunnel that is a 2x2 that goes for about 40 steps, actually exactly 40 steps, is for gauging the depth of the room as a whole. I saw that someone dug the right side out and that's fine just leave the left side as is so I don't make a ridiculously large hall by accident. I want to purposefully make a ridiculously large hall.

thanks :) and is everyone else able to get on the server ok? I was on it and then kicked off and now it wont let me reconnect :(

DQuan, I think you did a pretty good job with the server. I haven't seen anything wrong so far so I would say mission successful. Better yet I haven't really seen any great huge holes in the ground so I would say this server is better than before.

I had an idea on fixing the nether portal! I broke the overworld gate, just delete the nether folder, replace the overworld portal and start it up, it should make a new link!

I think you must be on the wrong server!

I guess I should have mentioned that I rarely if ever leave my personal hole in the ground so that might have something to do with it. But I have yet to see a glitch in the loading/rendering so that is at least better than the other server.

How/why did you break it?
