You'll need a plugin for that. I use spawnx. I'm happy to help but it will be a bit tricky as the bloody in-laws are here til tomorrow avo. Plus the time difference makes it even trickier. I'm sure we can find a slot somewhere though.

In the meantime look up some tutorial videos on YouTube. That's how I learned!

I think right now, i'm running the bukkit server through Hamachi. I shall look for this plug-in. Thank's for all the help! I will post the video we made today of the server later. :)

"for all of us to join" that's the hard part, since that person needs a powerful pc and a good internet connection if there are a lot of people on the server at once.

But like Nick said, DQuaN has set up at server.

Just jumped on DQuaN's server... wow there is a LOT of stuff on here! (i'm insaneau by the way)

EDIT: However it is on the wrong side of the world... and noticeably so in my case. Not to worry

Did some singleplayer testing and managed to build a 'water door'.

Basically you push the button and the water stops falling and the bottem of the stairs comes down. After some time the stair goes up and the water starts falling again.

edit: I'm still wondering how 5 iron blocks from my dish have gone missing and replaced by cobblestone. I noticed the cobblestone in 1 of the short tunnels earlier this week but didn't really pay attention.
And since I never used cobblestone anywhere on the dish it couldn't have been a mistake by me.

Watched some videos and tried out a bit of alpha. Is this game worth posting the 20 bucks for? Looks pretty interesting.

Website says over 2 million purchases...wow. For one guy even if he was averaging $10 per game, which I'm sure is low, that's 20 million!

This game can be very frustrating. Wanted to know what happened when I set fire to my tree farm. After that I went back upstairs to find out the fire somehow managed to jump over to my wooden house. :(

oh well. Greenpees surely doesn't mind me shopping down enough trees to rebuild. Didn't like some things anyway, so a good way to start over.

now that we have a block-moving mechanism, we need to be able to stick blokcs together using slime balls, by attaching the slime to the face of the block

This game is awesome and addicting for a low price. HURRY UP AND BUY!

Yeah I decided I'm going to tonight. Looks pretty cool. Beta looks like it came a lonnnnngggg way from alpha.

I suggested this to dunc in-game but he was busy so I'll say it here again. Since I've now got my Rapture house and my new (in construction) house in the middle of woop woop, could we maybe have something along the lines of 2 home sets? So home 1 would be /home1 and home 2 would be /home2. To set them it would be /sethome1 and /sethome2. I've got my current /home set to the woop woop house, purely 'cause I have no idea where it is on the map. This causes me when I come to Rapture to have to walk all the way from spawn out ot my house (near the church and east entrance to the skybridge) :eek:

Hello everyone, I'm new to this thread, nice to meet you. I got this game recently, and it's very addicting.

And DquaN, I checked out your server, very nice! I will visit often.

I support this idea, this way I can fill more people's houses with mushrooms.

Err, so I can have multiple homes.

There are some more advanced home plugins. I'll have a look in to them.

*edit*
This looks good. :)

*edit2*
It looks very good in fact. It seems it will allow you to set your home as your spawn point!

Hey! I downloaded the craftbukkit server stuff and added in the spawnx plug-in and I got it working! But! I can't get people to connect to me, would you happen to know why? Cause it's telling them; "Connection Refused"

Cheers for all your help again.

Have they been able to connect since you installed bukkit? Spawnx shouldn't stop them.

Ok guys, i've installed the new multihome plugin. Although it says they should have, your homes have not copied across so you'll have to reset them.

Here are the multihome commands:

* /home - Teleport you to your default home location

* /home <name> - Teleport to a named home location

* /home <player>:<name> - Teleport to another players home location if you have permission or an invite is open.

* /sethome - Set your default home location

* /sethome <name> - Set a named home location

* /sethome <player>:<name> - Set a home location for another player. Requires permission. Leave <name> blank to set default home. (Not possible for you guys)

* /deletehome <name> - Delete named home location.

* /deletehome <player>:<name> - Delete another player's named home location. Permission required. (Not possible for you guys

* /listhomes - List home locations for yourself.

* /listhomes <username> - List home locations for another player. Requires permission.

* /invitehome {<user>|*} - Invite another user (use "*" for global invite) to your default home location.

* /invitehome {<user>|*} <home> - Invite another user (use "*" for global invite) to your named home location.

* /invitehometimed {<user>|*} <time> - Invite another user (use "*" for global invite) to your default home for a short time.

* /invitehometimed {<user>|*} <time> <home> - Invite another user (use "*" for global invite) to your named home for a short time.

* /uninvitehome {<user>|*} - Retract invitation for another player to visit your default home.

* /uninvitehome {<user>|*} <home> - Retract invitation for another player to visit your named home.

* /listinvites - List invites open to you.

* /listmyinvites - List invites you have open to others.

It seems that if you want your home to be your spawn point, I have to set it in permissions (which is a bit of a pain!). Let me know if you do.
