I had stored stuff you know. I've been on the server longer than a few minutes. :L Also, mods had spawned diamonds which ended up into the Community Chest. So I took them, with no problems by the mods, or other users. 👍

If you had the diamonds stored in a chest before the backup, they should still be there.
 
:( They were in my inventory.

Look I'm willing to go without them if no one will believe me. :) But I do love my diamonds and iron.

Rykon, I'm currently building up a double chest full of cobblestone, do you want it when it's complete? Or if you like you can just get it from my house, it's in my 'Materials' chest I think. As long as you leave 2 stacks in there for me you can take as much as you like.
 
Wallrunner has a mod that lets him conjure up items much qucker than I can. Ask him when he's online.

In other news I've been messing around with MCedit. It's tricky to build with it but awesome for importing schematics.

If you guys want me to import something on to the server, take a look here to see if there is a schematic for it. The only downside is that I'll have to take the server offline for 5-10mins while I import it.

I know it's kind of cheating, but, I don't have the time, skill or patience to build something like this, and it will look awesome out to sea somwhere!
 
DQuaN, if you go and get the too many items mod, which I'm sure you may already have, and go to your inventory on the online server and press 'O' it will bring up the items you can spawn, as well as it being clickable to use.
Just incase you can't spawn stuff quick enough. ;)

Can we run that mod individually on the server or does that have to be a whole server thing?

We can all run individual mods, but only some will work. The Too Many Items mod requires you be an admin (or OP) to work, due to the fact it just speeds up the /give *name* *id* *amount* command. There's ones like Zans Minimap mod that work and texture packs that work.

After all, it's YOUR minecraft, it's just a world with restrictions on what can be used is being run.

I'm having second thoughts on starting up my new house, 1.8 is going to contain stone brick, which will be an infinitely better building material than cobblestone because I'm not going to be the only one enjoying it.
 
Good news guys, my Debit card arrived today which means I shall properly buy minecraft. So soon enough I will probably play with you guys :).

Update isn't until atleast November although it may take that long to build.....

And legendary I can't multi quote on the app but it is a blast. Just had some help last night adding a pulsing waterfall to my house :)

Lol wut? It's to scale.

The thing is massive. I've created a big area to use as a shipyard and this one ship takes the whole thing up!

It's on the server now by the way. :)
 
I've been thinking about the signs in spawn. Is there any chance of disabling the protection of the spawn with whatever you have now, and instead protecting it with a different mod that would allow you to leave signs unprotected? I'm currently looking to see if there is any mod like that.

Edit: Or perhaps there is a spawn change/protect mod that is compatible with SimpleSignEdit, which would allow you to to give everyone permission to edit signs protected by that mod in spawn.

I am going to give myself a project, and my idea at the moment is a massive noteblock song, probably the intro to this or this, or perhaps this this.

Didn't anyone from here build the crazy huge cage Nick09 and I explored this afternoon. Shrooms enough to keep WoodStock piled high for weeks..

Or was it an "anomaly" in the world? :scared:
 
My brother actually has a cave full of shrooms. If you have a world long enough, eventually, all caves are full of mushrooms.

Eh, nope. That just means you've raided a cave that someone's already found.

But wouldn't that be cool if notch implemented a random torched cave every once in a while?
 
The problem is that we could not find any exit someone else made. So we can only assume that it's up for grabs.

EDIT: Did a quick 5 minute job to an already existing structure in the server. I made my old experiment into a hotdog stand!

Ok, at the end of my hallways I've decided to build a 40x40x20 dome as a way to connect the living quarters/kitchen and whatever else I decide to build down there. This may take a while.

I was worried for a moment also, that I was going to break the surface but I found out that I'm about 10 squares below surface. In other words, no one should try and dig down from the station to the direction of the bluffs to the west I believe.

So I guess my lake isn't anywhere near secluded, compared to say, the shipyard. Actually, I'm surprised at how small the map looks. I think I need to go on an expedition, far far away.

Does whatever mod you use to set the spawn give you the option to leave it unprotected? That would essentially have the same effect as moving it, except that it doesn't actually move.
