Thanks for the input. I don't bother to read much in here unless it's written by Dunc or a few others because most is just bickering. I read it on a joystiq update and thought I'd share (all on my phone) and when I am I generally don't read through previous pages a lot when I'm in a hurry. I do appreciate your efforts to become a mod though.

Looks like I'll be removing it then, I want to enjoy 1.8 as it is so far to it's fullest :)
 
Anybody know how quickly a fly mod will come out for 1.8? I played a little bit of it today. It was super super laggy.
 
^ As far as I know, your old MyCraft client should still work. I'm not sure though, so done quote me on it *goes off to investigate*...


EDIT: Scratch that, look like you'll have to wait for the real release of 1.8, and MyCraft/Flymod to be updated. :(

I'm not really sure which fly mod I had. My friend set it up for me lol. It said "Shinya you're flying!" in the corner lol
 
Erm.....my graphics are set to 'Fast' at the minute and it appears that I can't change them in 1.8. If I click on the button to change them it just gives me a black screen :(

EDIT: OK, it works in-game just not from the menus!

Oh dear, ditzy Ryou turned on the turret by accident, and is causing lag for other individuals. I have to stop it now. :lol:

Edit - I stopped it. :)
 
Trying to stop it, I may have caused some slight damage to it. Didn't realise I had a golden tool equipped. If someone knows how it works, it's only some of the wiring just before the dispensers. Sorry
 
I hope I get vip status after I am done doing my new building. It is right by tlowr's tiny houses... and behind my smoothstone farm.

It is a modified freedom tower. 63 or 62 tall, will have glass flooring and I havent have a clue on steps yet. There will be floor every 5 rows. so about 12 floors total. which gives a different view each floor.
 
Soo.....is there any way to log on to the server with 1.8 or not?
 
Yeah, it says that the server is outdated. I just wondered if the people discussing it in this topic had been able to connect somehow. It appears they are still on 1.7 after all.
 
Even if we could, I would wait til actual 1.8 since the endermen have a habit of poking holes in any and all buildings. Plus using furnaces apparently crashes the game, and possibly the server.
 
I have to say, why use an unstable, unreleased 1.8? it's just asking for trouble. Is it that hard to wait a little more for the proper release, and following bug fixes?
