Yeah, that's what I was referring to when I said how can it get worse. Latos's loser outing was also lawyer appreciation day. Ooooh

Looks like the Reds may have gotten the best out of Latos. It's likely downhill from here as he's a headcase. If he doesn't have a good comeback game his next time out, he's going to get frustrated and things will only get worse.

Hot damn, that was an intense bottom of the 8th for the Yanks. Never thought I'd say this, but thank God for that HBP on McCann to get a run.

Yankees: 4
Blue Jays: 3

The Houston Astros won 2-0 on Monday. Tonight, we failed 2-0 to Cleveland. So we got ourselves a Rubber Game tomorrow for the first series of 2015 here in H-Town.

Braves swept the fish today. I was skeptical before, but I'm pretty sure we'll make the playoffs now.

:p

Adrian Gonzalez is going to be somebody to be watched as the season progresses, 4HR's in 3 games

But it's against the Padres, even though they have a new team, seems like the same thing from past seasons.

I hope the Braves are really good. Marlins bullpen looks like a bunch of wet noodles.

I like how our first two series are our toughest rivals. Took two from Pittsburgh so let's see what we can do tomorrow!

Today is the 50th birthday of the Astrodome. But sadly on this golden birthday of this 8th Wonder of the World, we failed (and almost got no-hit) to the Cleveland Indians 5-1. Jed Lowrie had the Astros' only hit- a solo jack in the Bottom of the 9th. So the Astros lost their first series of the season. I've heard the Astros actually have the toughest schedule of all 30 teams, many of the early games are against multiple teams over .500 from last season.

So we failed. How did your boys do today/tonight?

Matt Harvey's first game since August 2013 saw him throw 6 IP, 9 K, 4 H, 1 BB in a 6-3 win over the Nationals.

I actually had an afternoon game that I had missed completely. Thankfully, I got a chance to watch the 10-1 beatdown of the A's in about 30 minutes.

Texas (my Astros' next opponent) wrecked Oakland 10-1 today. The winner in this whacking was Nick Martinez for Texas. Graveman got buried with the loss for OAK. This weekend will be the good old Battle for the Silver Boot. Astros at Rangers. Yep- my boys going up north to take on the other Texas Major League Baseball team.

Reds swept the Pirates. Two 1 run wins, and 3 wins from the bullpen (granted they blew the lead opening day). Color me surprised. We've got the Cardinals up next. I'm just hoping we don't end up at .500 by the end of the series.

I'm debating bringing a Royals shirt next Thursday when I go to the game, just incase.:nervous:

Braves are brand new team, offensively. I have no idea what to expect from them(still not very much lol).

The state of Texas will win, but which Texas team will win? It was the Houston Astros Baseball Club who won 5-1 at Texas. McHugh picked up the win for Houston while Holland took the loss for Texas. The Battle for the Silver Boot for 2015 is surely on!

Elsewhere...

* It was also 5-1 in Denver as the Colorado Rockies tamed the Chicago Cubs. The COL winner was Bergman while Wood lost for the Cubbies.

* In a battle of fowl, the Toronto Blue Jays wrecked the Baltimore Orioles 12-5 in Baltimore. Toronto's winning pitcher was Mark Buehrle while former Astros pitcher Bud Norris took the loss for the O's.

* Minnesota blanked the Chicago White Sox 6-0 in the South Side of Chicago. The Twins won with Milone and a Duensing Save. Picking up the loss for the White Sox was Noesi.

Congratulations to all other winners up to and beyond the time of this post. Better luck next time to all who failed today/tonight.

Reds somehow beat the Cardinals in their first game. Another 1 run win and win for the bullpen. After last year...Mind. Blown. 4-0 is a much better start to the season than I was expecting.

It's disappointing to watch. Looks like we lost again...

Although last night was entertaining.

Red Sox winning 6-5 in 19 innings and over seven hours of baseball last night? Yikes! I still remember when my Astros played against the White Sox here in Houston in that game that went from about 7:00 PM local time to about 2:00 AM... sadly with the Astros losing. Of course, we got swept by the White Sox back in the 2005 World Series.

Today, I saw the Red Sox won 8-4 at the Yankees. This one didn't need seven hours or ten extra innings to settle the score. Boston can go for the sweep tomorrow night. The Bronx Bombers, of course, wouldn't want to see the Red Sox leave New York City with a sweep. Even if this is a mid-April series (as opposed to a late September series).

The Tigers just picked up another victory in the division by beating the Indians 9-6.

It was 6-2 in Arlington, TX, as the Astros lost to the Texas Rangers. We have yet to string together wins so far. Rubber Game on Sunday between Texas' two Major League Baseball teams.

Congratulations to all Saturday winners.

The Tigers picked up yet another victory this year as they beat the Cleveland Indians 8-5 today.
