Cool. Is there anything else major I'm missing out on gameplay-wise by passing on Elite?

Looks like I'm just missing out on a camo, which I kinda want, but not enough to spend $50 on it. I'll be content if they don't release any Elite-exclusive DLC.

You can't buy the hardened edition anymore. If you didn't pre-order it a long time ago you're SOL. They're all sold old. I had to pre-order the game and the elite service by themselves. I pre-ordered the game maybe a month ago?

Yea you can still buy hardened. Go to best buy online and perorder i did a week ago and it works fine. They will ship it to you on the 8th

That would have been some prime information to receive yesterday :indiff:. I still don't understand how something pre ordered can be sold out, that's just Activision losing money. They lost $40 on me, I know that much.

I wouldnt hold my breath remeber what happend when alot of people ordered the collectors edition of Forza at best buy dont hold your breath that you will get a hardend only days befor the game comes out

very simple they only make so many and I am sure they made alot more hardend for COD MW3 since there is now Prestige edition this year the fact of the matter CAM is this game has been getting hyped since May of 2011 your kinda late to the party ( no disrespect )
 
Oh don't get me wrong, I've been kinda oblivious to the scale of this whole concept until a couple months ago, and I don't normally pre order stuff until about a week before. I just wasn't aware, lesson learned 👍.
 
Maybe you can buy it from best buy, maybe their website is lying. I don't trust best buy. I do know game stop is sold out of them though.

I already put all $60 down at GameStop, so I guess I'll just have to miss out on a camo. No big deal. I want DLC to be available to all users and no have-have not system.
 
It is available to everyone. What don't you get? You buy elite the dlc is free when it comes out. Otherwise you have to pay for it when it comes out. They already said they'll be releasing much more content so I think it makes much more sense to buy the elite and get it for free rather than having to buy it at jacked up rates every time.

Hey guys I don't know if this has been asked yet sorry if it has. Is this game going to allow you to sign in on two separate profiles in online split screen.
 
I mean for ps3 on blacks ops to play split screen online the other play is just a guest. On Xbox you can sign in with two separate profiles. But what about mw3

I know you haven't been around here for too long, so please take this in a friendly way, but you have to look at the way you post and sort the grammar out.

You can use the EDIT button on the bottom right there to add something to your original post if no-one has said anything since you did. This is instead of filling the screen with boomee posts, and clogging up the server at Jordan's house.

You can also work to put some capital letters and full stops, or periods in your sentences, so that we can read them properly.

Nobody wants to embarrass you... hopefully ;) It's just that it's easier just to reply to the thread than send a PM. That, and with doing it in public other people know that you have been warned.
 
I phrased that badly. I meant that other people know you have been warned against it, so if you do it again they know that you've been excused once already.
 
Impossible to embarrass anyone in a MW thread, I would have thought.
 
Going down at midnight to buy this for my little brother. I won't be playing it as I already have the GOTY (In my opinion): Sonic Generations.

I hope that this doesn't just turn out to be a very small upgrade to MW2 though. I loved the single player in CoD4 but since it's been absolutely crap. Will defos give it a shot though, good shootin' with friends can be fun. :D

I think i'll wait to see how many people are no longer playing MW2 before i commit to this.

I get that's its available, but I don't know if I want to drop money on it. I may actually, I'm starting to change my mind. Do you still get credit for buying it today and all the DLC?

Yeah, I think I will get it. So the $49.99 Elite package has all the DLC and Founder status if you buy it in, oh, let's say twelve hours?
