Yellowbird? One of the best (if not the best) driving experiences in the game.
Does exactly what you tell it to do, just have to know how to tell it.. :)

This. 👍 If it wants to oversteer, tell it to, and it will happily agree. If you tell it to understeer, well son, you're gonna have a bad time.

100% agree with you two; just bought one and took it for a spin on Trial Mountain. Very obedient. Nice exhaust note too.

There's another obedient car and its the Lamborghini murcielago lp670-4 sv because when iTs fully tuned without drivetrain upgrades because the car turns in really good but in the fast corners it understeers but when you get on the gas it gives you enough oversteer to get you out of the corner.the brakes are good too.when you have to change gear to get out of a corner,it changes gear but the gears is kinda slow.this is one of the best Lamborghini I tried at cote d azur.

Obedient - Lexus IS-F '07. The IS-F I drive regularly has every performance part installed, minus the exhaust modifications. It brings it to around 660 horsepower. The racing softs likely play a huge factor in this, but this car is like a GT-R, minus the understeer! You point where to go, and the car does the rest; I've been able to keep up with many supercars on twisty roads. It never seems to oversteer either, it just goes. Great, great car.

Disobedient - Bugatti Veyron '09. It'll do a cool 295 miles an hour on SSRX, but as soon as you come to the corner, all hell breaks loose. You turn the joystick full force to the right..........nothing happens. You repeatedly bash it to the right again and again............the car fidgets around a bit. WHY WON'T YOU TURN?! I have to slow down way too much to still have a competitive chance in a speed race. :grumpy:

The isf sounds good and the veyron couldn't turn anyway

Disobedient: Lamborghini Murcielago (both versions.)

This^^. This car is keeping me from getting Gold Standard. :scared: I have gotten all gold, except for: SebVet challenges and World Tour-Lamborghini Toscana (Asphalt) race. That Lamborghini Murciélago LP640; why is it so horrible? Why does it try to kill me, when I hit the brakes?

Has ANYONE won that race?

That's a great challenge, took a few try's but it's satisfying when you complete it. Use the loud pedal very generously and do most of your braking in a straight line - good throttle control in the corners.

I was within 0.1 secs when finishing to the lead 430... :grumpy:

Brake in straight lines and take advantage of the oversteer to 4-wheel drift out of corners. If you start fishtailing for a fairly long stretch of road, start again, you're not going to catch the rabbit at the front.

Furai Concept and GSX-R/4: My base tunes worked on these cars... and they both love deep forest.

Cerbera Speed 12: tempermental, but doesn't disobey.

LFA: Most disobiedient piece of crap I've ever driven, next to the yellowbird. That friggen Toiletoda just won't turn.

+1 thank you! After the 0.1, did you try again? I recently *barely* got 2nd, purely because:

  • I didn't know the track
  • I didn't know the car
  • I couldn't see
  • I got spun by the 512 BB thing, you know, the red Italian car...

Obedient:Lexus lfa because it's a good car for cruising and when you drive it at racing speeds,it grips like a black edition but with less understeer and more oversteer and the noise is unbelievable too.

Disobedient:Ferrari enzo
Well it's aster then the lfa by a lot and it makes more power but when you drive it,compare to the lfa,it understeers more and got more oversteer.i drove it at twin ring Motegi and the Enzo like to oversteer then understeer.around the fast corners,it turns in good then it snap oversteer at the mid part of the corner.its obedient but compare to the lfa,it's disobedient

Obedient: Honda NSX Type-R '02 👍👍

At first this car was giving me a migraine because the rear end is so unstable. So I packed ballast in its boot and the overly-exaggerated oversteer became controllable. :D

Disobedient: Ruf BTR '86 👎👎

- the damn thing still has overly-exaggerated oversteer, even with S:S tires, ballast, and a rear wing. :ouch::ouch:

My Type R is an absolute rocketship. It'll run a lap inside the 1:23s on trial mountain

Obedient: Ferrari F10. I can push this car so hard through the corners, brake so late and mash on the power and it just responds immediately.

Disobedient: Cobra. American psycho.

Obedient: My Beloved DeLorean because i can chuck it around the track and it will get me there as if i was traveling through time :P (but BTTF jokes aside its a really good car)

Disobedient: Lamborgini Garlardo : it understeers then once u begin turning it oversteers, and the same wheels that cause the understeer don't allow you to correct the oversteer. getting this car sideways is like trying to drift a horse :/

I'll have to break the Delorean out of my garage now and see how I go with it. Your comments on the Gallardo are out of whack with my distant memories of it in the Lamborghini competition. Perhaps I was using Racing Softs for it back then though ...

Obedient: 458 Italia

Disobedient: Zonda R

The Zonda R? Wow. I was using the Zonda LM for some seasonals a month back. I finally decided to break out my Premium Zonda R and see how it went. After putting Praiano's tune on it, it went at least as well as the LM version. Perhaps it's the tune or a difference in driving styles.

I agree I think the Zonda R is excellent

Least: Alfa Romeo 8C. God I hate that car, it's the only thing stopping me from all golds in the grand tour. It somehow nails that horrible combination of understeer and oversteer in the same corner. It turns in "like a derailed freight train on ice" (I got that from someone else) but also oversteers like it has about 950bhp when it's actually got "only" 450. Hateful car

I laughed for a long time, thanks for that. Stood out for me too as one of the worst rounds of the game, that car on Eiger is horrible awful. Many restarts to gold, was mostly dumb luck and trial and error (and a lot of blind rage).

Absolutely loving this thread, nothing is so hilariously eloquent like people moved by their race rage to describe their animosity toward the fine GT5 machinery.

Most disappointing: RM TVR, somehow I just expected it not to handle like a heavy pos.

Most disobedient: Any car where I can be overheard shouting "turn, Turn, TURN YOU G.D.S.O.B.!!" That would be the 8C, or several newer 4wd sports sedans (WRX STi, Evo X, etc). Hideous, hateful understeering misery.

Most obedient: CLK Touring Car, it's ridiculous how stable yet fast that car is. Also the Camaro SS '10, really nicely balanced and fun to drive.

Oh, we are doing most disappointing now? Sweet.
Most Disappointing: Infinity G35. Driving it I expected a Skyline, but it wasn't. You know what I said? I screamed "I want my father back you son of a 🤬!" because that movie had R34s in it.

My disappointing is the escudo.i thought that car gonna be as fast as the one in gt4 but I wasn't.worst turbo lag in every corner and at the start.for example, changing to 2nd from 1st is worst then it is in the chapperal 2j and the 2j is obedient but it gearbox is a pain

I find the Escudo to be a rally car unrivaled in the game, but isn't that good on the track. Take the Escudo to Eiger K and you'll see what I mean.

Obedient:Tommy Kaira ZZII that car has never had problems from Gt3 to Gt5
Disobedient: Ruf Yellowbird

The ZZ-II could also reach speeds of over 800MPH in GT4.

I thought the ESCUDO was surprisingly obedient... its turbo lag sucks but the grip is unbelievable. I tested it at the Nordschleife, and it was rather fun actually.

I forgot to mention (and I know this may draw some flames) the 370Z GT Academy... I can't stand the handling in that car, and I like to think my driving style is flexible. Any car that needs its diff set to 50 80 0 by default has got something fundamentally wrong with it.

I absolutely hate that car, you're not alone.

Most obedient? Scion FR-S, handles like a dream

Most disobedient? Any nascar outside an oval (That Nascar A-Spec event still gives me nightmares :scared: )

Odd coincidence that I was reading a FAQ on Nordschleife where Mike Kimball raved about Nascars, the Ford Fusion in particular, on that track.

Edit:

I found the car OK-ish on Tokyo after adding some camber. I wonder if you're "Mike Kimball".

Everyone never mention the 2j and that's is a obedient car because that car grip like a red bull if you tune it good and at twin ring Motegi, with a good tune,it was faster then the xjr-9

The Escudo is Cheese in Gt3 because of how fast it is.
