In fact, though, the Canadian Rally Championship does have co-drivers who say things like "this is your corner" or "we're coming up to the Old Detlor Stage Iron Bridge." I was there. The guys really tried to gain time there, since it was a crowd favourite and a common place in the rally (it was in like 6 stages.) So, naturally, most drivers were okay... But one Impreza WRX just slammed the side of the bridge. I think they won...

They probably did try to sell them but maybe no one was interesting in purchasing them. Either that or they didn't think of it at the time which was sort of foolish if you ask me 👎 .

As far as I know BMW said it was planned to scrap the cars after the championship ended.
The cars were imported to Brazil under the temporary importation law(less taxes), so as the championship ended they should send them back to Europe, or pay the full taxes to have them legally here.
BMW decided that it would be cheaper to just scrap them.
