Blocks only work decently well when you are lowering your truck, and even then it's only on the rear leafs.

I'm talking about raising the front. Looking on there showed that a set of coil springs for the front for 2 inch lift were 2 dollars cheaper than those blocks too 👍

Washed my truck the other day, saw it fitting to take a picture :D

And also, made a vinyl sticker in Engineering at school. Sadly, the teacher has it set to only print letters, no pictures. Otherwise, this would be the old english D Detroit Tigers logo. In case anyone is wondering, I was born in Detroit

Rear blocks aren't too horribly bad... Front blocks are plain stupid.

After I get a job, get new tires (31x10.50x15 All Terrains of some variety), and give myself a real stereo in there. Then I can replace it. Until then, it's staying. It still works :D

I'm surprised that didn't get mentioned sooner. The other forum I'm on, my buddies love to give me $hit for my hair. To the point one of them who is a mod even changed my avatar to a picture of Dee Snider

I can't decided which way I want to go with my truck. I'm torn between the following:

1) a 2.5 inch leveling kit, 15x9-10(black wheels) and 33x12.50x15 tires to fill the fenderwells
2) Drop the back 2.5 inches, put 18-20 inch deep dish(gloss black, machined lip) wheels of some sort on it, with tires that are 29-30 inches tall.
3) Drop the back, put the same 15x9-10 wheels from option one on it with 31x10.50x15s

What do you guys think?

Personally, either 1 or 3. Big wheels would look out of place, small wheels with big tyres would look awesome. Then drop it just enough to have the perfect stance. Height wise, a bit like the SVT Lightning Bolt (I know it's a Ranger, but it's still a Ford...) but with equivalently smaller wheels and fatter tyres:

(I picked the ranger mainly because it's one I know of and I couldn't find any good F-Series pics to explain the stance I was on about...)

I'd go with #1... :D I'm not very fond of dropped asses... :)

I love that generation F-Series.. A serious work horse and built the way trucks should be.

Lower it, but that's just my inner mini trucker coming out.

In all honesty though it's a 6-cylinder, 2WD, that's not something you lift. Then put some nice 18's on it with some sporty tires, then show up at some truck bashes and have a ton of fun. If there is one thing mini truckers know how to do, it's party.

This is what option one would look like stance wise

It's beatifullllll. Only difference is I'd have a slightly less aggressive tire, and I've got a long bed

I'm not looking to do any major lifting. Just leveling so it sits even, not raked like it is from the factory. Which is where my 2-2.5 lift front/drop back comes in. I do like to party though :D

Best wheel I've come across so far for my dropping idea is this:

Why is everything so expensive?!

Stock 4x4 stance - 33x12.50x15 tires on 15x10 wheels

VS

Dropped 3 inches in front, 5 in back, on 17's.

I'd say lower it and throw on some 18s. I've never been fond of lifted 2wd trucks, unless they are prerunner style.

No one's gonna know it's 2 wheel unless I tell them ;)

Nice to see a bunch of other people aren't helping my mind rest at all. I'm smack dab in the middle of them, leaning more towards the fat tires...

Don't drop! Get a leveling kit and the bigger A/T tires, it will be worth it. It's an older F-150, not a sport truck, it want's A/Ts!
