Hey Street, that EVO MR is hot, I like the interior most of all. SOOOO, why is it called the MR, is it MR or does it stand for something. . . . Mountain Racing??????????

I think the 6 is the one Seito owns. I want to race him so bad. But he won't give me the time of day.:( :(
 
Just don't launch it too much because I've heard the Evo VIII's clutches are really weak and it's not nearly as simple to drop the tranny on an Evo like it is on my DSM.

i wanted to be a little different but that turned out to not be the case... i went to philly saturday night and there are 3 other white evos...

im gonna holler at the asian chick that was driving the STi.. she was very very very hot...

I was driving around town today, and I went into the Surburbia part of VA and I saw some very nice cars, BMW 840s, Porsche Boxsters, you know, well, three cars stood out to me today, and it was because of this thread, I saw (non consecutively) 3 EVO 8's just dying to be challenged. One of them was Blue, the other was Black and one was White. I have to admit, even though I like the Blue one the best, that white does look really good with the whole red interior thing. Really sweet dude.

Anyway, I just wanted to reitterate on what I good choice of car you've made, and I'm still making that challenge if you are willing to accept.

But then with those you have to deal with older mileage cars and stuff starting to break. Not that Im saying the Evo won't break anything.
 
Dude, you are one lucky ass 16 year old!!!!! I'm jelous :(. Still, nice car man. Take good care of it. I'm more of a Subaru man though :P.

You're probably right, but I just thought it'd be tooo sweet to see that.
 
i say the 240 spins out and the evo laughs at you :D

one of the first mods you should get is a real BOV, i heard that the new evos got the same pos that the 2g DSMs got. if thats true your boost is very limited right now.

i drive a 95 GSX, which is as close as i'll be able to come to an evo for a long time lol..

and by the way, mitsubishi created faults in their cars on purpose. the BOV limits boost = limits detonation, less blown engines. the weak clutch......well it's cheaper to replace a clutch than blown shift forks and transmissions. basically they weakened parts strategically so they wouldn't get screwed with their warantees

finally, your warantee is only voided by modding if the modification you made specifically caused the problem, eg. you changed from the big16g to a FP red, which blew your engine

have fun with the car....and screw you and your extra differentials :p
