Mine's with Play too and my past dealings with them are not fun memories. They had good pre-order stealths though, presuming they don't find a way to screw that up
Play.com are a bunch of useless no hopers. I swore I would never use them again over a year a go but had no choice when I wanted the Assasins Creed: Brotherhood Codex Edition. It was despatched on Tuesday and I still haven't go it. Not even expecting it tomorrow if I'm honest 👎

Someone else on this forum said he phoned them and they were expecting to dispatch on Monday for Tuesday delivery or Wednesday at the latest.

So what about 24hr stores like Walmart?.
Even if they dont do a midnight launch per se, will the game be available as of 12:00am??. Or do you think they will have special instructions not to sell any?? Technically it will be the 24th then.
I wonder if they will have it stocked before and you can buy it earlier in the evening?.

other side of the pond, but never not been able to buy a big name game from a 24hr retailer after 12am. usually a fair few people there so its not like you are just milling around waiting, you get to form a queue

i don't think changing where you preorder through the post from at the stage is the answer. some people may or may not be getting lucky tomorrow/sat/mon, good for them but we have missed the boat and jumping from supplier to supplier now is not going to help tbh. stay put and wait it out

Nobody will get it on Saturday. Just because they sent out a dispatch email, as mentioned already in this case it doesn't mean the game is actually on its way.
Trust me, it will be Tuesday at the earliest.
And for those saying they can pick it up in a store early...bollocks! They aren't going to sell you one of the most anticipated games of 2010 five days early, I doubt they even have it yet. And anyway, that would be throwing away the pre-orders.

Quite frankly your behavior has been beyond belief. All three of you will shortly find a nice infraction worth 10 points sat in your PM in-boxes. I don't find it amusing at all to be greeted with this kind of nonsense, nor do relish the work involved in cleaning it up.
All three of you need to re-read the AUP and ensure that you follow it when posting.

I called Walmart, according to them, they will not have it until end of November, or early December.
Online show December delivery.

First post on the forums but I've been lurking for a long time!
I just wanted to say that reading these threads has been a great pleasure and the fact that I'm 37 years old and looking forward to this release like a kid on Christmas is a joy.
I can't tell you the last time a game came out that I was this excited for and that is something as an adult I cherish. So while the next 6 days are going to be sleepless, that in itself is cool - in a hurry up and arrive already kind of way.
Looking forward to seeing everyone online next weekend! I have ZERO friends on my list right now, but I anticipate that will change soon.
Good luck to everyone on the wait and then the subsequent, "I don't have time to clean the gutter right now dear, I'm in an endurance race!!" conversation sure to come.

Walmart is a long shot only because the electronics department might not even know they have it yet, I hate dealing with the big retailers, they are only good for console launches. I plan to pick up my copy Tuesday afternoon/evening. The stores have to have it by Tuesday in order to sell it Wensday hint hint, thus you can likely get it before midnight Wed.

Seriously though - I'm really looking forward to racing online with everyone here. I've logged at least 1000 hours of single player in GTR2, Evo, F1 2010 just waiting for the perfect online experience. I might not be best for the first half a lap, but then I should settle down and start reeling you in.
