Just got home to find a Shopto e-mail saying it had been dispatched at 9am this morning.

Also Booked next week off work this morning and i'am also finishing at 1pm this Wednesday. Rock on.

To anybody that has pre-ordered the Signature Edition from GAME. Are you able to track your package via the ParcelForce link given in the E-Mail. Because my tracking number is C******** And it says it is invalid. Is my tracking number too short?

It may not be trackable until it has been received and scanned at the ParcelForce sorting hub.

It will track but only says EXPRESS 24H

No details given but the email says it should track properly after 6pm.

So check back in te evening to see how it goes.
I know I will, and if it is with PF, then tomorrow will be a 'stay at home waiting for it to arrive day' HAHAHA
 
Looks like Amazon have messed up big time, mine says still not dispatched which means there's a real chance I won't get it on wednesday as it is too late to go out today. If they don't pull there fingers out soon, I'm cancelling this and heading to my local Game store on Wednesday morning. Very, very unhappy seeing as it was ordered several months ago :grumpy:

My Signature Edition from GAME has been trackable on Parcel Force's website since about 6pm last night (with the C******** number) but only to say "Express 24" (I placed my order on the morning of the first day you could pre-order it so maybe I was at the front of the queue). I'm hoping there is some movement this evening for delivery tomorrow although I wouldn't be surprised if nothing changes until tomorrow evening if Parcel Force have been told by GAME to deliver on the 24th.
 
Despairing at Amazon i intend to make regular visits to my local ASDA and pester them with a turnip until they hand over a copy of GT5. If that doesn't work i shall proceed up the chain of vegetable severity until they crack. They had better hope they have sold out of cucumbers.
 
Canceled my Amazon pre-order because ive got tomorrow and wednesday off and i want to play it all day tomorrow.

I know a shop that is going to start selling it tomorrow :)

Same here mate, mine has said express 24 since about 6:30pm last night. Im going to check it again tonight and if it hasnt changed then im certain GAME has asked them to hold off delivery untill release day... Worst thing for me is if i stand in my back garden i could throw a stone onto the bloody roof of the parcelforce sorting office for my area and My signature edition is probably already in there.. I might just break in and collect it myself lol
 
Mine was sent this morning from shopto. i should know by 10am tommorow if ime going to have it otherwise it will be Wednesday.
 
I have an order for the CE with amazon uk though I am getting slightly worried. Does anybody know what chances I have of ordering the signature from game our gamestation online and having it by wednesday?

Probably not high if they are working through the orders as they've come in which would be the most likely thing.

Thought as much :(. Come on Amazon! If I haven't heard anything tomorrow, might head to gamestation or game during lunch and see what I can find.

Nothing constructive to add i see?

Try paying for shipping to see a delivery estimate of the 25th of November (day after release) then be forced to pay more for Business post (1 working day)

And even after all that the people who have paid absolutely nothing for shipping some of them have their order now, and almost all have had dispatched email etc....

Then cancel your order and go and buy it from a shop on the 24th. It's not difficult, if the order has already been sent just refuse delivery when it arrives. It will go straight back and you will be refunded.

Mine hasn't been dispatched yet, but if I don't get a notification tomorrow morning that it's on it's way and will arrive on the 24th then that's what I'm going to do and just pick a copy up from the shop on the way home from work. It's not difficult nor is it a big deal, you have to expect this when youorder online. Sometimes you get lucky and get it early, most of the time you get it when expected and occasionally you get it a day or two late,
 
I cant wait for the person that picked standard shipping to come in here crying that their copy only shipped on Wednesday and isn't at their house :lol:



It's gonna happen the way some of you are going on like you've never ordered something online before.
 
My SE has dispatched from France. 👍

And as i had rapid delivery it is UPS and not postal services 👍

A warning to Amazon customers who have received a postage upgrade for free if you previously complained. I checked my order status and it changed to having a full charge for the postage, an illegal transaction basically, even if it's a mistake. Anyway i had to quickly speak to them on the phone to get it sorted. Call centre in USA strangely (Amazon UK must be in chaos). Luckily for Amazon i persuaded the customer service boy to change the postage back to what it should have been. I only had the exact amount of money in this bank account just for the GT5 order, if they had processed the order with postage i would have been charged a load of money from my bank for a special payment fee and for unauthorised overdraft etc. I would have then taken Amazon to court for that to claim it back.
This experience is not good for me.
Also i'm not liking the communication of the Amazon call centre staff. He gave the impression i was being done a great favour by getting it sorted and telling me not to worry as i should get it on the 25th....
I then complained about the other Amazon uk customers that already had their copies or were dispatched already. This hit an error in his brain and could only repeat, don't worry i will get it on the 25th.
I am not a gullible dimwit, i am quite angry. Something has gone wrong at Amazon UK and now it looks like Amazon US are having to deal with it and know nothing about it.
 
Amazon US and Amazon UK both run themselves, neither is responsible for what the other does. The way you go on about illegal transactions makes you sound like some kind of insane conspiracy theorist. So something went wrong with an order, big freakin' deal, it happens online, it happens in stores, you get it sorted and get over it.

Hmm, you do actually understand that is why courts and magistrates exist? in order to sort disputes and criminal actions. When a judgement is made that is the "get over it" moment. Amazon US has taken over customer service for Amazon UK. I was speaking to an American in America. I'm 32% sure.

Taking money from someone unauthorised is a crime.

What you're effectively saying is that if you accidentally dropped your credit card off a bridge and it happened to land in a baby's pram, the mother is a thief and should be imprisoned for "accidentally illegally" stealing from you.

No, things go wrong then they get sorted. If they go very wrong you may be entitled to some kind of refund. The courts are not stupid and wouldn't take up this case unless Amazon actively refused to sort out your problem, which they wouldn't.

Rang Amazon TEL: 0800 496 1081.at 17-20 Today About my 320 PS3 CE Order as the Status of my Order is "NOT YET DESPATCHED" :grumpy:

Spoke to a Bloke who seemed quite helpfull , all he could say was they Work though the Night in the Fullfilment Centre Dispatching Orders :ill:

So i've got to ring Back Tommorrow......again :grumpy:

If its not Dispatched by 4pm Tommorrow i'll cancel it

However i will be Getting the Standard Version of the Game from another source by the 24th

I just fancied a New PS3 aswell as the CE , maybe that won't happen but i'll be Playing GT5 on the 24th one way or another
 
Just came home and my GT5 has been delivered from Amazon 2 days early. Just as well seeing that I had this game on order with them since Feb 2007.....👍 👍

Well I'm about to get stuck in, but for the rest of you just be patient and it will come.

Gosh, lots of people in here getting upset about a one day delay in shipping. Mine may come tomorrow. I might not even have time to play it until about next Thursday.

Such are the demands of life...
