Amazon.co.uk shipped mine this morning, Royal Mail 1st class, so there's an outside chance I may get it tomorrow.
And I'd like to take this chance to appologise to you all, I'm the guy who pre-ordered it, the day Sony announced the delay !
What type of delivery is that I'm due too get mine tommorow (however noone is in in the morning so i might not actually get it) and I ordered it next day delivery for a pound extra.
Edit: I live in Surrey.
Parcel Farce have it and its "Express 24".
I should have it by Friday.
Exactley, if mine isn't here tomorrow I'll watch the Champions league instead, if it's not here on Weds then no problem again it's United v Rangers.Gosh, lots of people in here getting upset about a one day delay in shipping. Mine may come tomorrow. I might not even have time to play it until about next Thursday.
Such are the demands of life...
This thread is just comedy. Writing snotty letters to a retailer complaining that a computer game isn't late yet is just a whole new kind of lunacy. Do you really think that this is going to get you a reasonable response?
I think you're missing the point. The fact of the matter is in some cases with some retailers, people who have just ordered the game seem to have it before those who have ordered months in advance. This is evidence that some retailers aren't serving customers on a first come first serve basis - and the "snotty letters" are merely making this clear to the retailers.
No one is gonna have a legit complaint until the 25th and even then, only if they picked release date delivery.
I can't believe it, my order from Amazon UK has arrived...2 days EARLY!!!
They messed up my pre-order from July, so I called them and complained. They gave me a £5 discount and it looks as though the chap I spoke to put me on the top of the pile.
Installing it right now...50 mins...want to play NOW!
You won't hear from me for a couple of weeks.
Probably can't use online parts until Weds
Just checked with gamestop and I won't get it till the 29th 👎 that really sucks. I'll catch up with you guys on the 29th.
I think people are perfectly entitled to complain about quality of service. Not prioritising orders in the order they came in is the equivalent of queue jumping in any real life scenario.
I just called them about my CE pre-order, and she said it was shipping the 23rd for a release day delivery.
Edit: If I don't have a tracking number by 11pm tomorrow night, I'm going to WalMart and buying a regular copy.
As far as service goes, nobody's really supposed to ship anything out until tomorrow
but hey!
I cant speak on the UK, but here in the US, for release date delivery, the game is usually shipped the day before release, then gets delivered on release date.
Anything earlier than that is luck
