And breath!! SE just been delivered by ParcelForce. Now only 3 1/2 hours until work finishes but the Apex Magazine will keep me busy for that time. Get in, start the install, make the tea for the Mrs and the little one, Mrs will bath the little on and I'll get to sit down and experience what I've been waiting a very long time for 👍

Interesting, on the tracking did it say sent out for delivery? Mine looks like this as of now:

Mine has reached my city and, as of 7:45am, is "Out for Delivery."

It's 8:45am now, and I only hope I'm not unlucky enough to be the last stop on the delivery man's route!

Even if you are, you're still getting it today for sure! And a delivery man's route can't be that long, can it? Keep positive! ;)
 
My wife is a proper snot bag. She ignored my texts all morning, then strung me along etc, and finally sent me this pic, followed by a pic of it installing.

Then she just sent another saying she was so excited she might pee herself...sarcastic woman! Still, she's installing it all for me though, so I can't complain :) Roll on the end of work.

Unfortunatly, and here's the real kick in the grapes, I have to leave to go visit my parents for the Thanksgiving holiday today.

I really wanted to get at least a couple of hours in before I left.

By the 'handed to delivery partner' it looks like they might have subcontracted delivery out to a different delivery company for yours.

Here is the email address to send them a query about your parcel parcelforce@parcelforce.co.uk , but to be honest if it says out for delivery then i would expect it to be delivered today. They deliver right up until 6.00 pm so plenty time. Although I do understand how nervous and frustrated you feel as thats how I've been for the past two days ;)

I thought it was strange that all the other northerners had received their copy from Play and you hadn't.

My girlfriend used to work with me, she hid my shoes once so I couldn't leave at the end of the day, it was raining too. Conclusion, women are evil.
 
For anyone else in North London waiting for a delivery from GAME via Parcel Force, my Signature Edition is still showing as "Loaded to vehicle for delivery" and no sign of it having been delivered at home.

I've decided to pick up an SE on the way home from GAME and return the one that comes via mail order.

haha, that's ace mate! I fully agree, women are evil, and I don't care. I have a new love life now, called Gran Turismo 5! boom
 
Confirmed, no delivery of the game for me from play.com

HOWEVER - I've just been down to my local Asda and picked up a copy :) so I am a happy bunny after all. Will be doing a return on the unopened play.com copy as and when it arrives tomorrow or Friday.

My guess would be that anyone London based (or in busier towns/cities) won't get the delivery today, because it's gone out on second class post. And delivery of second class depends on the volume of first class - by that I mean if there's a lot they leave the 2nd class, if there's less then they deal with the 2nd class as well.
 
My play.com order dispatched on Saturday, did not arrive today. I'm out to Tesco soon and I'll just return the play.com one when it arrives for a full refund. The cheaper Tesco price will cover the postage too.
 
The question for me is whether I can console (no pun intended) myself by watching the footie tonight, and hope that it finally arrives tomorrow.

Spent lunchtime looking at other people's clips, which didn't help.

Play.com said they were dispaching it last week, Not recieved it yet, feeling disapointed as its past 2 pm and don't see a postman.

Infact he delivered it just as I was typing this haha!

After 2 days of "shipping soon" from amazon.com I received an e-mail apologizing for the delay and saying it is essentially "shipping soon" some more:confused: and they are graciously refunding my $.99 shipping :rolleyes: . Just got home with my copy from target and installing now.👍
 
My better half has just informed me my signature edition has just arrived. I finnish work in an hour. This is gonna be a long hour!!! Im 26, i feel like im 6 and its christmas eve lol

Thanks for the info, but Goddamnit!!!! It now says:

WTF. So I phone them, and I can't actually speak to anyone, so I don't know where this address is!? I'm so pissed off right now.
 
What's with all these people ordering from Play.com? Places like ShopTo.net and many others have it cheaper and send it 1st class Royal Mail. And it doesn't have to come from Jersey or whatever tax haven Play uses.
 
Just got home from a gruelling day including a job interview and got home to find the Sig Edition. I'm installing now, I asked it to sign out but its installing the update anyway. Is that a bad thing before installation?
 
My one from play.com has come. However the slipcase is creased down all sides. So much for being collectable. Just posted in a envelope. So I'm going to have to have words with play.com

Edit: my apex book has spine damage too.
