Hmm nice, if people who ordered from GAME and recieve it Tuesday...what are the chances the instore pickup of me getting it Tuesday...

Good luck with that!:crazy: It may work on some independent retailers, but never with GAME
 
Another Amazon order here, placed on the 17th. Still listed as "not dispatched" but with an estimate of "delivery estimate: 20 Nov 2010 - 24 Nov 2010". Getting it early would be a bonus, and supreme bragging rights:D but I'll be chuffed if it turns up on the 24th.

Anyone else using Amazon UK choose first class delivery? How good is it? I tried the expidited delivery option initially, and was told it'd be delivered on DECEMBER 29th!

When did you get that email? I ordered the SE the day after they put it on their site and still have no charge taken from my card, though it has been authorised, and on Games site it still says its being packed.

Did you order with guaranteed delivery by release day? I did but some are saying that a normal delivery method often turns up before.
 
My CE from Amazon UK with first class delivery still hasn't changed status!

My first is 3 in 2 weeks and has already has first go with prologue...I'm guessing with horns working on GT5 he'll be even more interested :P

Just had my dispatched email from Game for my Special Edition... not that they will be in the royal mail system before Monday anyway!

It was pre-ordered back in 2007 when the first release date came out but re-ordered on the 6th June 2010, i dont remember what options but Game generally send it RM 1st class and post it through my door. Any pre-order iv had from Game have come 1 day before release so im hopefull, but this is Gran Turismo...........:nervous:

edit: literally the min i wrote this play.com sent me an email saying the game has been dispatched. On a Sunday? wasn't expecting that:sly:

My copy was dispatched from Play.com on Friday. Delivery is suggested for 3-5 days, so mine could arrive anytime next week :(

Well arnt you the lucky one? :sly: You could be in for a good day tomorrow. :)Mine was slightly later as a only ordered first thing sat morning due to gameplay not dispatching my sig edition. I also ordered from ShopTo with the intention of cancelling the one which was slowest. I know i can now get it from an independent shop in my hometown on tuesday if the online stores fail me:sly:
 
The only time I wished the Mail/Postage worked on Sundays :(
As you know though, nothing goes anywhere on Sundays :( at least in the UK :(
 
I regretfully didn't bother to pre-order a copy so no early delivery for me. But I am hoping to find one in stores the following weekend.
Seems pointless to pre-order 3 days before release. But we will see if I can find a copy.

Perhaps I have little faith in the UK postage system (wonder why :ill:), but im not hoping for much before Wednesday/Thursday in all honesty. Be very shocked to see anything this side of mid week.
